Great day for our boys today!
The Bs went up 2-0 early and held on for the rest of the game in a good hard fought game!
In the As we scored 2 in the last 10 mins of the first half and then a minute into the second half to go 3-0 up. Credit to Plympton who fought hard to get back into it but we held on the last 15 with only 10 men to secure the 3 points!

We look forward to he week off and finishing the season strong!

surely easties new keeper didn't concede 5? I wonder if someone will make the big call and send him to the ressies for a second time!

In no way were any of the goals the keepers fault. They scored 4 very good goals and if we tracked our runners better in the midfield it may have helped things. He actually saved us from further embarrassment with probably 4 top quality saves.

I can't understand the fixation on him? In my view he is quality and we are more than happy to have him!

But on the score... We were very poor today and grove obviously were out to turn around the score from the first game. Better team on the day certainly won.

Knights went a goal up after only 5 minutes through Robert Marsden and the game stayed at 0-1 until half time.
After the break Knights grabbed a second 5 minutes after the break when Robert Marsden provided a nice cross for Tom Foglia to head home from just inside the six yard box.
Both sides had several opportunities but it was Knights who went further ahead at around the 80th minute mark when Tom Foglia received a great through ball from Jordan Ruch and put the ball past West's keeper for his second goal of the day.
Stephen Maguire made an exceptional save to keep West scoreless and Robert Marsden slotted in his second and Knights 4th. at around the 85th. minute mark.


***Special mention for the food laid on by Para Hills West as it was welcomed and enjoyed by the Southern visitors before the long trek home.
