CALCIO SERIE B
JUVENTUS - NAPOLI
Rai International 1,2,3
Martedì 10 Aprile 2007 ore 17.00 (ora it.)
So that will be 12 30 our time tonight.

Del Piero is expected to return after missing the game against Albinoleffe. So I wonder if Palladino will get the start, with his recent good form, or if Del Piero (who i expect to start) will partner Trezeguet up front.

The defence is a worry, there seems to be problems every game and Napoli did put three away vs Bologna in 45 minutes the other day, so it is a bit concerning. probably be Balzaretti, Cheillini, Boumsong and Birindelli across the back.

Probably won't be the most pretty of matches, but I can see us keeping a clean sheet, simply because, despite the problems, the players have hopefully been waken up after conceding quite reguarly and the damage it caused vs Albinoleffe. I see it a 1-0 Juventus win in a very close game.

Im sure we all would.

At this rate, with napoli more concerned with fouling than playing football, we will win this, probably will stay 1-0.

Finished 2-0, Del Piero scoring the second after 50 minutes.

Pretty bad game, quite ill tempered in the second half, Marchisio was sent off, straight red card, for supposedly charging at the Napoli player after he kicked the ball, but it did nothing to warrant a straight red card. There were far worse challenges throughout the match. The referee seemed to lose control of the match in the second half.

Napoli were more intent on hacking than playing football and their game suffered. They were poor. It dragged our game down a bit. Del Piero had a few good chances to score another goal and Palladino missed a sitter in the last minute.

Napoli started to use their man advantage with about 15 minutes left, and Buffon fingertipped a rocket from outside the box onto the bar. Then Roberto Sosa was clean through, put his shot past Buffon, but it hit the face of the post and came staright back out.

All up a poor game, but important to get the three points. 7 points clear of Genoa in second now.

He's not a stopper, he's a right back and is only playing there ude ti injury's. His movement is often exposed, but him and the donkey Boumsoung concern me. Although Boumsoung and Zebina had good games I'd like to see the back of them.

2 nil and should of been 5 had DP, Trez and Paladino put away afew sitters. Sosa had a great chance in the dieing stages for Napoli also. We dominated the match and got the points and thats all that matters. Marchisio's red was a terrible descision, Giahnecceda's was closer.

And that Napoli tackle, I think on Nedved in the first half...possibly from Grava was also deserving of a red along with Giannichedda.

Who else had trouble distinguishing the two sides? :?

It was bloody hard to see who was who, especially in the first half - second half with no sun was a little better.

Juve should have worn black shorts.

How was the guy that Giannichedda tackled, he was the same one that got Marchisio sent off. He went down like he'd been shot.
