Results don't always show a true indication of how the comp is panning out. Yes it shows the top & bottom teams, but that doesn't always mean anything.
I think its a more competetive league this year (albeit slightly). It's good to see Cumby back winning some games & some closer score lines between teams that last year would have been a different story.

May be more competative once the reduce the league to eight teams.
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

The aim should be to increase the number of competitive / top-tier sides, not reduce.
I would love to see 12 sustainable Prems sides giving (roughly) 16x12 girls/women an opportunity, rather than 8 sides constantly turfing older players for younger ones.

two leagues, top league 8 (21 rounds ) and 10 team in the second (18 rounds) - this way you have promotion relegation of one team, league then becomes stronger and other clubs can develop juniors for their seniors.
Do this for two/three years then up the relegation / promotion to 2.
An outright southern team would be good , south Adelaide ? new club-rooms big catchment area?
off season 4 way comp. (once a week with one training) - south teams combined / north teams combined and city teams combined / NTC ( reserve w league squad ) this way players are match fit and possible late inclusions if needed to provide depth to W league. 4 way comp which is about development points not just performance points ( like a semi tournament - like coffs - this way players are learning curriculum / coaches too and building a better comp each year for the clubs.

Quality not quantity!
But if you have to - 16 team league - all play each other once (15 games)
Then split it into top 8 and bottom 8 (7 games)
22 game season but more importantly the league will equalise and teams will play the teams of a similar standard twice.
Sorts out:
No relegation / promotion
16 teams in the highest league (might help with recruiting players to the lesser known teams)
Teams will naturally fall after the first round into the standard that they are really at.
But if you have to - 16 team league - all play each other once (15 games)
