The same Liverpool that celebrated his racial vilification of Evra
The same Liverpool that kept him even though he took a chunk out of ivanovich's arm
The same Liverpool that kept him even though he openly called his manager a liar

Liverpool's behaviour has been just as 'disgusting'........but hey, they're $50m better off....they signed him to a 5 year deal knowing it was only a matter of time before they would sell him. They were more than happy for Suarez to insist on a $75m buy out clause....

If you’re looking for morality in football clubs you’ll be looking for a while.

Me personally, I prefer my players doing their indiscretions on the pitch.
Drink driving, losing your license for speeding repeatedly, cheating for a decade on your wife, super super injunctions, shagging a granny hooker, being up for rape are probably all bigger moral issues to society than what happens when 22 players chase some leather around.

I look forward to when we you can display the same MORAL OUTRAGE and disgust without goggles on.

Liverpool have been complicit in directly/indirectly endorsing his behaviour by not selling him sooner. They chose not to sell him even when 'good' Liverpool people wanted him out because of 2 reasons...
1 - what he was worth on the pitch in terms of goals
2 - what he was worth off it...

Liverpool compromised their own values because of the above.....would other clubs have done the same....probably yes (including Man U...who by the way got rid of Keane, RVN, Stam and Beckham to name but a few because of various reasons)

but to state that Liverpool have higher standards than Barcelona because they've finally sold him (on Liverpools terms) is comical......

One reason those players were shown the door, they crossed your former manager with their lifestyle choices & opinions when they didn't fit in with his personal preferences.

Quite simply, Liverpool knew what they were getting with Suarez and endorsed his behaviours until they could off-load him at a premium and after they'd given the premiership title a real shake....Profit and premiership points were more important that making a stand against him....

With every indiscretion the club didn't force the issue with authorities, accepted the ban and moved on.
After the Ivanovic bite the club had him seeing a psychologist and his behaviour was exemplary for Liverpool. Not surprised back in high pressure environment, with the pre-tournament injury and weight of expectation for Uruguay that it happened again.

If this is a wind up, its pretty good i'll give you that much.

Now that both players have left Man U and Liverpool respectively maybe you can look at that again with some more objectivity.

Player who's native tongue is French, engages in conversation leading off with an insult which made no grammatical sense to a Spanish speaker in a European-Spanish dialect then which then all gets translated back into English aided by the help of body language experts. Same experts also concluded that accuser was in a good mental state despite arguing the coin toss among other things.

It is well know Luis Garcia finished Roy Keane, that is what made him exit Man Utd. So what if he played a handful of games afterwards, it was because of Garcia he was finished. Nothing to do with Ferguson getting rid of a top player. Jim Beglin played for Leeds after Liverpool, but again it was his broken leg that finished him. Gordon Cowans almost lost a foot, but played again, but not the same....the list goes on and on and on....

As for the racism, he was not found guilty of being a racist
