The Bs game got very heated in the 2nd half and there were a few red cards shown by the home ref. He did seem to lose a bit of control of the game towards the end but we'll take the point and move on.
In the As it was another hard fought game with both sides having very few chances so I think the score reflects the game accurately.
We have a few injuries so it will be tough for the next few weeks but we are definitely up for the fight this year!
Sorry mate, but the Reserves incident shouldn't be sugarcoated. Any other little flare up, I'd let go on Footballnews, but this needs to be told and put into context.
Ref lost ALL control of the game in the B's. Reckon we were flagged offside for every move forward despite being onside 80% of the time. Bit of light-hearted banter on the sidelines to their number 4 seemed to get under his skin a little bit resulting in the ref presenting a red card to a supporter
Unfortunately, an absolutely disgraceful incident flared up shortly after with two of Bosna's players racially abusing our player, calling our lad the 'N' word (that was number 12 and 13) and will be rightly reported to the league. There is absolutely no place in the game for this crap and I hope he cops everything the league can throw at him. About 8-10 witnesses who heard and saw the event from our end.
Ref then proceeded to red card the player of ours who was racially abused after a 50/50 with Bosna's goalkeeper. In the following altercation, a Bosna player was sent off. Our lad was then told after the game "that the red card won't count" - invariably meaning that their player would get off the hook too.
Absolute joke of a club referee and absolutely disgusting behaviour, language and attitude from their Reserves side. Just because you play at League HQ doesn't mean you get to play by different rules to any other club. I really do hope the league stands up to the players in question here. Shame on you.
What's changed in the last 7 years down there re reserves refs
After being 3-0 down in the A's found another gear and dominated second half, hit bar twice and should have had a defender sent off for last man tackle a loss but promising signs
And what about your last man challenge that only resulted in a yellow? Take the rose coloured glasses off. Biggest bunch of whingers we've played this year.
The player that took out Tom Foglia, as last player didn't even get a card...amazing.
This should have been a yellow card everyday of the week (!) last defender is a bit rich though, there were 2 or 3 defenders there.
Still amazed at that bounce where Farm's keeper did brilliantly to keep it out by deflecting it onto the crossbar, awesome reaction.
To be fair, this rule is nothing to do with the ‘last man’. The rule states that a red card should be issued if a foul denies a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Oh and i wanted to mention a big thanks to the Southern Knights supporters for cleaning up all their rubbish for us today, makes a massive difference guys... appreciate it
PPU's A team scored their first goal 15 sec after the kick off whistle.
We were up 3 nil with in the 1st 20 mins then in the last 20 mins SC score their 3 goals, two of which were Penalties. Absolute a ripper of a game to watch.

No it doesn't.
There are only 3 ways you can receive a Red Card. Serious Foul Play, Violent Conduct and a second yellow card

Sarcasm??
Law 12 of the Laws of the Game lists the categories of misconduct for which a player may be sent off. These are:
Serious foul play (a violent foul)
Violent conduct (any other act of violence) e.g. assaulting the referee.
Spitting at anyone or another player
A deliberate handling offense to deny an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by any player other than a goalkeeper in his own penalty area
Committing an offence that denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity (informally known as a professional foul)
Using offensive, insulting or abusive language or gestures
Receiving a second caution (yellow card) in the same game

Cheers Robbo were a very social bunch, enjoy the bar before during and after the game, at times we have had more in the away bar than home players/supporters
Massive result for Fulham today! Anyone with a write up? Maybe the loud mouth wearethegully could post? Very very unusually quiet...
Also massive result for ABE. Did you guys get an influx of players or just put away your chances?
Thanks to saints for a good solid game today. Thought it was pretty poor that only about 5 people came back in for a beer. Especially since we are about the only div 2 club to give a six pack to best opposing player. It'd be great if teams would support each other...

Fulham controlled the game pretty much from start to finish. Gully play a very nice formation which allows their midfielders a lot of space to work in. Thought Fulham kept possession well, created a lot of chances, finished well and won most of the contested possessions. Game was played in really good spirits. Thanks to the gully boys for supporting our bar as well. Will return the favour when we visit. As usual things are tightening up in div 2. 4 points separating the majority of the league.

Tom was caught from behind and from where I was standing (side on), only Chris Nicholls between him and the goal. Can't change it now...

Seeya in the return fixture
Just after Chris got a touch from that unpredictable bounce...ball came back off the crossbar into his hands....great reaction.
Hard to argue with that pic swanny I swear there were two more right there, but yeh. Certainly not a deliberate attempt to prevent a goal tho, a long way out, a definite yellow but, had to be a yellow
Nice one Robbo !
Guessing that shows why reflex training is so important.
Good banter about supporters clearing up rubbish after themselves, I think a lot of clubs should learn from this by having at least one bin by each set of supporters.
At the Grove last week It would of been ideal, just saying
Without ammunition, the Air Force is just an expensive flying club

or do we lose the points?
Lose the points mate. Happened to us when Beograd pulled out of the ressies last year. Sucks but it's probably the fairest way. Otherwise thise that lost to AYS would be at a disadvantage to those that haven't played them yet

Good to hear they've been suspended. It's about time something was done about that carry on. Hopefully the main culprits were identified and arnt just allowed to join another team or form yet a new one next season

As it happens, AYS had lost every game so far this year.
Only issue is that for those teams that would now lose the 3 points, it could turn into the difference between promotion and/or relegation.
I'd say all teams should get a forfeit win so those that have already played them dont lose any points

Are they suspended while under investigation or are they expelled from the competition
