Couldn't agree more Nova. Most people obviously think they are poor quality. So much for freedom of speech. Maybe coaches and players should have some input into ball selection. Couldn't see the Seniors using them.

I'm really McP i s s e d off, that's about four times I've had topics deleted because of contentious issues and yes Sc1, what happened to freedom of speech!

i agree, the red balls topic actually had a proper concern towards the juniors. so why should the topic be taken down? the only thing that should be taken with relevance to this topic is the red balls themselves! .. :?

Squad doing very well thanks Nova. Some new faces yes but also some quality youngsters from within. Good season is expected but with this age group anything can happen. Attentive bunch who really give it all. How's things in your neck of the woods?

Match balls should meet the specifications set out by FIFA, the World Governing Body of Football. Did anyone check the specs before the new match balls were released? The skill of the game is based on seeing the ball clearly whatever the light conditions so maybe someone didn't get it right.

Sponsorship rights... McDonalds pay the money to have their badge sewn onto the junior shorts and for the ball to have that design on it.
