Quite a dramatic game in the A's. I'll write a report later.
C's: Titans 6 - 2 Comets

Comets lost the plot in the second half, more concerned about starting fights than playing football!
Pretty sure we came from 4-3 down with 9 men to win 5-4. I think our mind was on the job in the second half

You scored in the first minute and held the lead for most of the game. The only time you were behind was in the second half and your opposition also had a player sent off. You yourself also tend to get worked up in 'derby' matches.

Wasn't that Right Back quote in regards to the third team?

Would make sense as Right Back plays in the C grade.

I think Chips may have misread the post.

Are you suggesting that comets v titans is a derby? If so, how?

Your right sorry thought this is reference to first team match.

Right Back, listen to your mates and just leave it on the field.

That would be ok if certain players didn't spit the dummy every time a decision went against them.....plus its hard to forget when you get threatened over and over again

They are both based in Adelaide.

Nice try with the dog whistle.

I heard comets c grade were still going on about it during the A grade game, so maybe they should take your advice as well.

Also heard a comment was "we expect this sort of shit from modbury but not from a greek club"

Hey hawksey you were not there so shut the fuck up, as for leaving it on the field I agree. But when someone says I fucked your wife to one of our players who is an absolute gentleman then he should be able to back up his smart mouth. Then again he might be weak as piss like his old man

I don't need to have been there, it's been put out there in the public domain.

It seems that you lot (as I said earlier) should take the advice offered by your own teammate.

So why would you expect Modbury to make comments like that then? Do you we have a reputation for fucking people's wives or something? Personally, I have never fucked someone else wife. I've had some Mum's but never wives.

Don't worry though, I won't be saying anything like that when we play you, I have standards.

Exactly right you have standards so I think he crossed the line saying that about our teammates wife. Makes it very interesting for the return leg, but he will probably be injured that week.

I think he kind of missed your point..............
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. That's why I succeed." -Michael Jordan

If you're actually referring to me with this comment, then no... I'm no hero, this is already a couple weeks ago now and you're still going on about it and saying stuff like "weak as piss like his old man" and "will be interesting return match" blah blah - why would the return match be 'interesting' besides the normal interest in all matches? What are you insinuating?

What's done is done and he even went and apologised to the player (who accepted the apology) yet you still come on here add fuel to fire.
