Seaford - Sierra Stars
B's Seaford won 2-0. Probably a little but lucky with the score line as we got 2 early goals. Sierra played some great football and just couldn't get it together infront of goal. A couple of worldy saves saved us late on and we even managed to get away with a late missed pen. Game played in a great spirit with a great result in the end
A's seaford won 4-2. 4 nil up at half time and Sierra down to 10 men with a shocking challenge the game turned a bit farcical in the second half with some dirty tactics and bad challenges. The ref did well to keep control of everything and although Sierra scored 2 goals with 1 great finish they never rally looked liked changing the result.
All in all 2 good wins to keep building and another great clean sheet for the B's

Ressies
Aldinga 12 - 0 Andrews Farm
First team
Aldinga 5 - 2 Andrews Farm
B's won comfortably against a team that didn't stop trying til the end. Quite a few injuries throughout the game for Farm. Good luck to the big fella who needed a stretcher with what looked like a bad knee injury.
First team game was a game of two halves. 2-2 at halftime. We didn't show up til the second half. Could've been 3-2 down but for a cracking save from Oomps who was nearly beaten from 40-50 yards. Top effort. 2nd half we made a change and seemed to play the ball around a lot better. We still needed a bit of luck to contain them to only 2 goals, they hit the bar. In all honesty we could've scored more but for wasteful finishing and poor decision making in the final third. At the end if the day we get the 3 points but we're far from satisfied with our performance. Great bunch of guys from Farm who had numerous players backing up for 2 games. Well played today, if you play like you did in the first half I'm sure you'll see improvement throughout the season.

Noarlunga B 6 - 1 MLSC
Few spells of goals for Noarlunga, were quiet after the first for a while, i tipped one in by mistake (im keeper ). 4-0 HT Second half i was much quieter and pleased with 2nd half performance.
Noarlunga A 9 - 2 MLSC
Player sent off with scores 5-2 just after half time, he was also goal scorer for both, could have been a tighter game, lot of well worked set pieces from the little i did see of the game from noarlunga.

Apart from the fact that he didnt put it down as an own goal and gave Hewi 2 goals for the match.

If its any consolation we had 2 players end up in hospital after our game against Noarlunga. We look forward to your visit. We make all feel welcome down at Shark Park.Gristy wrote:yeah no worries, spoke to him as well.
