Re: liverpool v man city
I don't think this will decide the title. It will however swing in favour of whoever wins it. A draw won't be the worst result for Liverpool either. Should be a cracker!adelaidebloke wrote:title decider, who ever wins, will win the league, draw favour city

I prefer to believe it would be 2-1 CityDerek wrote:Going to be a cracker........3-2 City

How does that work?adelaidebloke wrote:title decider, who ever wins, will win the league, draw favour city
If Liverpool lose they will not win the league, that is all that can be even considered.

My fear is that it will, but I'm more worried about the Chelsea game than the City one.haywood djablowme wrote:What after 33 games you deserve the title?? So we all pack up & forget about the remaining 5..Red-4-Life wrote:whoever wins this, deserves the title. Can't wait. YNWA

I'm just glad we're back in the Champions League, anything more than that this season is just gravy.

Long way to go yet for 3 battling it out
Welcome to the top 4 Liverpool, hopefully we can hold on. Wonder what odds you could of got at the start of the season for both Arsenal & Man U not making the top 4??

:? I never said Arsenal would win the league months ago at all, I most definitley said we had a chance, which we did.
Admittedly i did get carried away about us finishing above Liverpool.....which is still a chance.

Re: liverpool v man city
As a Chelsea supporter I am hoping for a draw. I think plenty of people would be glad to see Liverpool not win though and help prolong their fruitless search for the title and for at at least another season for us to hear "we'll be challenging for the title next season."!

No matter what happens this season... do you think Liverpool will kick on next season?Old Redback wrote:As a Chelsea supporter I am hoping for a draw. The result shouldn't bother you, making the champ league semis has probably cost you the league.Old Redback wrote:As a Chelsea supporter I am hoping for a draw. Re: liverpool v man city
I think the game will come down to who has the better defence.
Both teams have unbelievable attacking players and midfielders but are a little suspect in defence under pressure.
To my mind Liverpool have a slightly better defence "but it all depends on what happens on the day" - as the pundits say as a way of avoiding making a decision.

Interesting conundrum for Man Utd supporters. Do they want Liverpool or city to win and the title? True Mancunians should want Liverpool ahead of city, suppose they'll be supporting their noisy neighbours thenOld Redback wrote:I think plenty of people would be glad to see Liverpool not win though and help prolong their fruitless search for the title and for at at least another season

Happy that Liverpool won but bloody Suarez, what a wonderful player, but what a diving cheating scumbag as well. I wish he'd pack it in.
And just how does Skrtel continue to get away with his holding at corners? Anywhere else on the pitch and grabbing two handfuls of a player's shirt is a nailed on foul.

Tough to give those unless the ref's in exactly the right spot to see it clearly.MegaBonus wrote:Not to mention the handball.....
If Rodgers manages to lead them to the title, I think he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Josep Gombau.
