Loosing Streaks

What is up with the newly promoted teams loosing such as Raiders under 13's have had two football lessons dished out to them already, 1st game 8-0 Loss to Cumberland 2nd game 9-0 Loss to Modbury. In a trial match earler on Raiders had lot 10 -0 to modbury

No idea but measure the teams progression across the season, on the return legs you would hope/expect the team to improve to show they have learnt something.

I would encourage all teams (and coaches) to give an extra show of encouragement when these scorelines occur

simply agree here.. thats all really, its the type of game where you can be on the wrong end of it, just keep in there.

We beat a team 21-0 in the U/13's cup comp once and their coach gave his players a public, verbal assault during and after the game. He told them all not to bother to turn up next week if they intended playing like that again......no doubt that their season would have got worse after that unless the coach was sacked. Now that's how NOT to encourage kids to overcome a losing streak!!!

Junior won his other indoor final last night so hopefully he will focus on the big pitch game now Sc1.

Catching up with family Barney. In laws up on Sunday. Should be pleasant enough hopefully Hear you're home alone. Congrats to Jnr. With so many catch up games this year, wondering whether we should have played one this weekend? Not sure but think we are playing Playford next Friday night at home...looking for a linesman if you're not busy

I think Raiders under 13's beat Panthers today 2-1. So has the loosing streak ended.

You will be glad to here that the raiders side are improving.

0-0 Adelaide city
0-0 Campbelltown

Just need to start scoring. The jump from A's to B's is a massive step but this season will just be a learning process. If anyone saw the City game the Raiders really deserved the point and could have won it at the death.
