No one is whingeing about friday night games, the issue is the lack of consultation.

Fact is, we signed up to play games on Saturdays, not Fridays. Any changes from that and there needs to be consultation with the opposition club. Otherwise, as stated a club could decide it's now playing it's games on a tuesday lunchtime when no one from the other side is available.

Great way to eliminate the Saturday vs Sunday debate.

Its now the Saturday, sometimes Fridays and maybe Tuesdays vs Sunday.... :P

Bottom line is if the league want to issue fixtures not on original draft, with no communication with clubs involved, then those said clubs should be afforded the right to request an alternative which suits both teams, and should be allowed to postpone as opposed to forfeit in order to rearrange the fixture.
That much is common sense.

That is pretty sensible.

He didn't but you got all defensive and woe is me to any of my comments. Refusing to answer questions and saying to seak to the league instead.

If you'd have said this on page 1 then your trainers wouldn't be so worn out.

Maybe if you had been able to formulate a more cogent and sound argument your panties wouldn't have been bunched up so tight and you wouldn't have gone into your now famous hysterics.

How do trainers get worn out if you stand right there and don't move?

Haha you make me laugh. Asking questions is now "going into" hysterics. I've already proved you didn't answer all the questions. We got to 0/1 before you ran away AGAIN!

Running without moving, not answering questions when you reply - you must have me confused with someone else.

Actually I think you are just confused full stop.

You seem to forget you scored 0/1 in the answering questions game.

If anyone has a problem with Friday night games, go down to university ground this Saturday at 3:00pm and see if you canget a park within 2km. Won't happen. That is the choice.

Re black shirts, the refs have a change fluro green strip. Already this year I've seen black shirts from munno, united and vipers. Vipers shirt looked great but was a fluro green black combo. So uni aren't getting any special treatment there.

Look I don't care if we play Saturday arvo's at home while the AFL is on at Adelaide Oval, I live a 5 min walk from the ground. In fact it would probably be an advantage for us if we played at the normal times and let the opposition catch the bus!

Don't the black shirts look great! I'm glad that common sense prevailed, despite some know it all on here coming on here and saying that we weren't going to continue with them.

What was my wording on the black shirts? You say it's common sense for you to be allowed to wear black, common sense for me to have refs wearing their roer traditional colour#

You have good reasons for friday games and had consultation occurred then I'd be congratulating yo

"At the 1994 World Cup finals, new jerseys were introduced that gave officials a choice of burgundy, yellow or white, and at the same time the creation of the Premier League in England saw referees wear green jerseys: both changes were motivated by television considerations. Since then, most referees have worn either yellow or black, but the colours and styles adopted by individual associations vary greatly. For international contests under the supervision of FIFA, Adidas uniforms are worn because Adidas is the current sponsor. FIFA allows referees to wear five colours: black, red, yellow, green and blue."

It's been twenty (20) years since referees have been wearing only black tops.

Traditionally players wore heavy screw in boots and cotton shirts and played with a lace up ball that got heavy at the mention of rain.

I'm glad that the game has moved.

not in amateur leagues it isn't. One official told me (I don't know how true this is) that the only amateur leagues in the world that don't wear black tops is in australia.

If I provide you with a letter from SA Police saying my annual registration has gone up to $10k per year, does that mean it's valid?

No, that came from the document that was mailed out to all clubs by the SAASRA.

But you are in a position to make proclamations around the SAASL's competition rules and framework?

You are aware that it was a hypothetical scenario that I was putting forward right?

I was obviously aware of your hypothetical scenario.

Yes, I am in a position to make a comment about the SAASL's compettition rules. Mainly because I don't believe there's too much of a legal implication in me passing my comment as opposed to what could become a delicate legal matter.

I think it was pretty obvious that it was an example of an organisation sending out information that they weren't entitled to.
