I thought they were called "Saturday & Sunday Leagues" for a reason. Otherwise why bother with two leagues at all if you're going to play at various times on various days? Just sayin...

Haven't Sturt Marion had a couple of Friday night games each year for several years now? They've probably been quite successful and the league like the idea of having more.

The difference is Sturt asked their opposition if they were willing to do it. They didn't dictate that that is when they will play.

Only 1 game a year, but clubs should have the right to change to Saturday given valid reasons.
We play Uni round one and looking forward to a Friday fixture... Frees up a weekend.
But if a team has 4-5 players that work night shift on a Friday, the fixture should be changed to Saturday.
