The difference is Sturt asked their opposition if they were willing to do it. They didn't dictate that that is when they will play.

Only 1 game a year, but clubs should have the right to change to Saturday given valid reasons.
We play Uni round one and looking forward to a Friday fixture... Frees up a weekend.
But if a team has 4-5 players that work night shift on a Friday, the fixture should be changed to Saturday.

You're making an assumption on Hawkesy's word that clubs haven't.

I would be surprised if clubs have been left out of the loop re consultation with fixture changes.

So, it seems I'm not the only one who thinks clubs should have been consulted on this.

If you don't think they should have, can I start a team next season that plays home games at 11am on a Tuesday?

You misunderstand, Adelaide Uni are not in a position to dictate when the games are played, that is the league through the fixtures isn't it?

and consultation should have occurred with the clubs it affects, not just thrust upon us. I'm sure you agree with that, like any sane person would. I wonder why it didn't, conflict of interest perhaps?

Wel play in the saturday division, not the Friday division. Unless both clubs agree, games should be played at the usual kick off times.

So, when are the C's kicking off?

What conflict of interest are you suggesting?

Are you insinuating that the league has acted with bias?

I have merely asked a question, whether there is one.

I think Uni should forfeit if the other team have not agreed. We sign up for a Saturday league not Friday.

I think they should be prepared to play on saturday, or not enter a team in that division.

I don't know Hawkesy has been the one that has suggested there is some bias.

This must have been one of my most provocative posts yet given that you felt you had to provide a response to it on 2 separate occasions!

All this and you can't admit that you were wrong about Adelaide Uni wearing black.
