They never play well after having travelled. Isn't that the point of having a big squad that you can rest most of them on Thursday nights? Poor management perhaps?

Hard for me to watch Spurs at the moment, it's all so slow and ponderous and I have to think, despite his recent results, Sherwood is not the long term solution for us.

Kim was only saying on Friday (after another loss) that you guys rested 5-6 players

Just watched the Liverpool v Swansea game, great viewing for the neutral. Liverpool remind me of Keegan's Newcastle, great going forward, but very substandard at the back. You can't win Championships if you let goals in that easily.

P.S. Nice to see a referee finally penalise Skrtel for his wrestling style of defending.

Maybe you'd like your £43m back as well?

Good players don't become bad overnight, so I think Spurs' problems really stem from Levy's choice of managers and the style they play, rather than necessarily choice of players.

Nah I like the 43mil we spent Cyril, boosted confidence in our club & put us back up around the mark. Cant say the same for the 110mil the Spuds wasted

Does Lamela even get a run anymore for Spuds? Biggest transfer flop this season?

Sherwood has been good results-wise but his style of play has more than a few question marks.. in saying that I have heard the performance this morning was very sloppy from the players. More rumours this morning that Van Gaal will take charge next season.

Lamela is injured FYI.

Difficult to judge though when he never gets a run in the team. I suspect he doesn't suit Sherwood's 'robust' style with his light frame. Hopefully, we'll get a manager with a bit more nous for next season and we might actually see a passing game return.

Given his recent form will Hodgson give West Ham's Nolan a recall?

Doubt it.

If Henderson isn't on the flight to Brazil, there's a massive fucking problem though.

I was sort of hoping he'd get nicked for it eventually, and fortunately at a time where we got 3 points anyway.

Gombeau???
I wanted Martinez, but I'd be happy with Hod.

Gombau seems like a decent coach, but whether he would want to go to the EPL from AU is another matter

Absolutely. Don't know how he's got away with it for so long. Hopefully he'll start defending properly now, and if he ain't good enough, he can be shown the door.

Skrtel is ridiculously underrated.

By far Liverpool's best defender this season.

Agree. That's the reason you've hardly ever kept a clean sheet

Eh, I'd rather kick back and watch us outscore opponents each week than hold out for 1-0 wins.

I wish Spurs could manage even that much :(

As I said earlier, Liverpool remind me of Keegan's Newcastle, exciting to watch, but ultimately probably won't win anything.

Not this season perhaps, but when you look at the vast improvement we've made, it's only natural to assume we'll continue on that track. Think with a good transfer window we could be in business.

What a load of sh*t the Arsenal game was, pathetic performance, didn't deserve to win the game. Sick of this sideways passing with no penetrating passes, need to move forward more directly. Chamberlain was our best player and only played 15 minutes. 20 mins into the Southampton vs Liverpool game and already more action!!

One more thing on the Arsenal game, Adam is a total disgrace stamped on Giroud twice in the game and studded Arteta, somehow stayed on the pitch.

totally poor performance, although the Stoke scored from penalty, I have to say that Arsenal did not deserve any more on this match
