sep would have to be one of the biggest nap supporters in the state or maybe even australia. The amount of propaganda i've had to put up with over the years has been unbelievable. not to mention the dreaded sunday/monday morning sms service he provides me with highlighting serie b results (only if the naps win that is). although he's gone quiet of late.... paura!!!!!

aldo serena is another one for your list as well

'A CITTA' 'E PULLECENELLA

T'accumpagno vico vico,
sulo a te ca si' n'amico...
e te porto p''e Quartiere,
addó' 'o sole nun se vére...
ma se vére tutt''o riesto...
e s'arápono 'e ffeneste;
e capisce comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella!

Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...
Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...

Mme dispiace sulamente
ca ll'orgoglio 'e chesta gente,
se murtifica, ogne ghiuorno,
pe' na máneca 'e fetiente
che nun tènono cuscienza,
che nun tènono rispetto...
Comme fanno a pigliá suonno,
quann'è 'a sera, dint''o lietto?!...

Dint''o lietto, dint''o lietto,
quann'è 'a sera, dint''o lietto...
Dint''o lietto, dint''o lietto,
quann'è 'a sera, dint''o lietto...

Mo te porto a Margellina,
sempe ca nun tiene fretta,
verso 'e ccinche d''a matina,
quann''o traffico 'o ppermette...
Ccá è permesso tutte cosa,
no' pecché tiene 'o diritto...
ma pecché s'è sempe fatto...
o è sultanto pe' dispietto!...

Pe' dispietto, pe' dispietto,
o è sultanto pe' dispietto!...
Pe' dispietto, pe' dispietto,
o è sultanto pe' dispietto!...

Mme dispiace sulamente
ca ll'orgoglio 'e chesta gente,
se murtifica ogne ghiuorno...
e nuje ce mettimmo scuorno...
Ma nisciuno pò fá niente:
ce 'a zucammo 'a caramella...
Comm'è doce e comme e bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...

Comm'è doce, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...
Comm'è doce, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pulecenella...

Comm'è doce, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...
Comm'è doce, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...

Jie che sóngo musicante
e mme sento furtunato,
canto e sòno, sòno e canto,
chesta bella serenata...
E pecché só' 'nnammurato,
pecché forse ce só' nato...
ma vedite comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella!...

Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella....
Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...
Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...
Comm'è bella, comm'è bella,
'a cittá 'e Pullecenella...

I bet.

I can see it right now in the Vigilante household, as Papa Vigilante breaks out the VHS of that game, while Mama Vigilante brings freshly popped bowls of Pop-Cat, and you all sit together basking in your own glow of complete irrelevance.

Do us a favour: kill some Veronesi, or something, ffs.

hahaha, lol.

Anyways hows Cudini going??? I remember seeing him play against Juve, and looked very strong. He was one of my fav players for Ascoli, he's even the player who's name occupies the back of my shirt - the shirt was actually his spare, that wasn't used.

downer substitute pop cat for polenta and you're on the money. don't worry i'm basking like you would not believe. just ask sep. 100% cup final record and loving it.

cudini has been from what i can gather a solid signing since his return. in fact the whole defence of late has been rock solid which has contributed to our recent good form. It's hard for me to get specific info, i'm just limited to a few websites to get match reports etc.

I get the feeling that record will remain intact for a while to come.

Fiasco is definately a gialloblu crociati! But Fiasco is Also an Azzuri! Followed Parma all my life. but my background and family are all from Napoli, which means i support Napoli also. I still remember the first day Parma were promoted into the Serie A for the very first time, Round One was Parma v/s Napoli (Maradona's men) it was a hard day. Parma and napoli are The only teams i support in Italy! Hard atm with Parma struggling to stay up and Napoli not exactly are convincing us they will be playing top flight football next year. At least i can say i dont support two major clubs like a Milan and roma or Lazio and Inter...
so yeah Juventino_4_ever, Parma and Napoli. Do you have a second or equal club?

L'aquila are playing in the regional division - Eccelenza, a level below Serie D, below Eccelenza is promozione then Prima categoria then seconda categoria and finally terza categoria. You would find many of your village teams playing in Prima, Seconda, and terza. Like mine and left wing's village Appignano del tronto - village of 2000 people, has Appignanese in the regional leagues in Prima, but this season will see the giallo rosso go back to Seconda. How funny was Truentina Castel Di Lama almost making it Serie C2, but the next year got relegated to Eccelenza the demoted once more to Promozione, now relegated to Prima . Apparently back in the day when they played Sanbenedettese in Serie D, they got a couple thousand to the game, all the Ascoli supporters went to the game to support truentina, but mainly to abust the samb fans.

I can give an example of the lower divisions in le marche - Serie D group F (le marche and umbria i think), Eccelenza (1 group of 18 teams), Promozione (2 groups - north and south le marche 18 clubs in each group), Prima (4 divisions - 16 clubs), Seconda (9 divisions - 16 clubs), Terza (12 divisions - 14 clubs in each group). In essence these clubs in Terza categoria can make the move to Serie A football, so maybe L'aquila can re-claim Serie C football, must remember Ascoli started off in the regional divisions so stranger things have happened.

Yeh I heard they were in Eccelenza, but not much else. Might have to go looking on the net one day, just get some info on the club this season.

I'll include you, its ok, but only because Zola and Crippa played for Parma.

I got my back up when Napoli got relegated, and all these beneventani and avellinesi started supporting other teams.

I had an argument with a shop keeper once... a young fella, who was arguing with his mate about who was going to win the Derby D'Italia (he was an Inter fan). I joined the conversation, while I was buying a shirt. He asked me who I supported, I said Napoli.

He said me too. I said 'but you said you were an Inter supporter?' he said 'well, you gotta support someone in Serie A'. I took my shirt and left. I wished I hadn't paid for it, but I did. Bah.

yeah i agree that is wrong, to jump on a bandwagon just because your team is not in top flight football. very much not the case with me.

Im in - Scudetto 8687.

Im buonalberghese - vicino benevento, but have always supported Gli Azzurri.

By the way, that Di Canio goal i will never ever forget. What a day.
