Maybe you aren't as bright as most give you credit on here.

Away draw for The Owls , happy with form since Gray took charge. However Sunderland recalling Connor Wickham is a negative, especially as he has scored 8 goals in 11 matches since November. Lets hope we can get him back.

why would an australia adelaide united supporter give a shit about a game 10,000 miles away?
Still waiting to find out what happened with the 2 red cards near the end.
From all reports wednesday's keeper should have seen red as well at the end for a handball outside the box.

SHEFFIELD Wednesday are still confident of securing a fresh loan deal for Sunderland frontman Connor Wickham.
The England Under-21 striker was an unused substitute in last night’s 1-0 victory over Stoke City after Sunderland opted to end the £8million man’s spell at Hillsborough earlier this week.
Sunderland are thought to have activated Wickham’s recall clause on Monday morning, due to injury fears over fellow striker Steven Fletcher, who was restricted to an outing from the bench last night.
But with Gus Poyet ready to hold talks with Wickham before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, Wednesday boss Stuart Gray is hopeful that the 20-year-old will re-join the Owls after netting eight times in 11 games for the Championship side.
When asked whether he believes there’s a chance Wickham will return to South Yorkshire, Gray replied: “Yes, very much so.
“It’s a case of being in dialogue with Gus and Sunderland, and Connor wants to come back as well.
“He was hugely disappointed he had to go back.
“Fingers crossed we can get him back.”
Gray admits it was a shock that Sunderland decided to end Wickham’s loan spell, which was due to end after Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship clash at Millwall.
“It was a bolt from the blue,” added the new Wednesday boss.
“We’d gone out training and I got a phone call.
“There was some technicality where they had to call Connor back before 12. I was under the impression that if they didn’t call him back he wouldn’t be eligible (for last night’s game).”

Transfer Window: Arsenal's Benik Afobe joins Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Arsenal striker Benik Afobe on loan until the end of the season.
Afobe, 20, has yet to make his debut for the Gunners, but has previously appeared for Huddersfield, Reading, Bolton and Millwall during loan spells.
The Owls were looking for a striker to fill the gap left by England Under-21 international Connor Wickham, who was recalled by Sunderland on Monday.
Afobe could make his debut in Saturday's derby against Barnsley.

Not due to the fact he plays for the club I follow, but I believe this kid will lead the line for the three lions shortly. Some dominating displays of strength and awareness at the U/21's recently and is very mobile and fit for a bigger built man. Good luck to him at the owls. Although I feel he should have taken the offer at Bolton to become the main striker....swannsong wrote:He's been with a few clubs lately, Benik Afobe will be with Sheffield Wednesday....where he will be Thursday is anyone's guess ?ozzie owl wrote:January transfer window 2014 so far.

Sheffield Wednesday: Cardiff's Adedeji Oshilaja joins on loan
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Cardiff City defender Adedeji Oshilaja on an emergency loan until 12 March.
The London-born 20-year-old has made two first-team appearances for the Bluebirds, but none since their promotion to the Premier League.
His last came in Cardiff's shock FA Cup third-round loss to non-league Macclesfield in January 2013.
He has already had a spell out on loan at Newport County this term, playing 12 games and scoring one goal.

Football League clubs have backed calls for the introduction of safe-standing areas at Championship grounds.
All-seater stadiums have been compulsory in the Championship and Premier League since an inquiry into the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, which claimed the lives of 96 Liverpool fans.
Safe-standing areas, featuring retractable seats, have been introduced abroad, most notably in Germany.
At a Football League meeting, most of the 72 clubs voted for the plans.
