Di Natale to retire end of 2013/14 Season
A legend of the game in Italy, chose to stay loyal to Udinese and turned down big clubs like Milan and Juve and also to go home to Naples to play - have to respect that.
In ten seasons in Udine he has scored 189 goals in 362 appearances better than a goals every two games.
Humble and generous man and is paying for Morosini's (died playing for Livorno, ex team mate of Di Natale) disabled sister's ongoing care after he passed away from a heart attack a year ago.

Great player and a gentleman, will be sad to see him hang up his boots. Would arguably be amongst the top 10 strikers ever to grace Serie A.

any chance of him becoming a marquee player for AU?
Now that would be a signing!

Bad knee issues are the reason for the retirement if you believe what is written - apparently only trains twice a week now.oldfart wrote:any chance of him becoming a marquee player for AU?

What an exceptional player, sad to see him retire

Dan Birdwell - You have to play this game like somebody just hit your mother with a two-by-four.

Because no one in sports history has come out of retirement for a large amount of money!Juventino wrote:Generally retirement means players stop playing
