Haddin is clearly the man of the series for me but we all know the Channel 9 lovefest on Johnson will continue.

Can Engerland show some balls for this first time this series and chase down the 448 runs or at least make a good fist of it, there still 7 and half sessions of cricket left so lots and lots of time to dig in

Bit like your lot should have done in the summer for the series in England.

Tough decision on the man of the series I would have gone Brad Haddin but Mitch was a worthy winner

Mitch definitely man of the series.... put it up the poms and was a major reason for the series win. Frightened them senseless and can see some psychs making some good money off the pommy squad over the next few months.

In saying that, great series from a supposed washed up player.

I did enjoy clarke's catch being referred and him asking the umpires why his word wasn't being accepted.

It's because you're a fuckign cheat, pretty simple really.

Why should your word be taken for a catch when it's worth fuck all when you're batting?

5-0. Honestly I think Bangladesh would have offered more resistance. Even with half a team of foreigners they couldn't get close.

Hot tip for GIAE - Just quietly bow out of these discussions to avoid further embarrassment, know when you are beaten and stop nit picking and wasting your life on an internet forum arguing and get out there and live a life.

OK, all shit aside its clear we are ahead of England, also in the rankings etc etc.

Anyone else think that we are still likely to get a pasting from the Saffers? I am still not convinced about our top order and think they were made to look ok only due to lack of bite from England. Cant rely on Haddin saving us all the time. Might be one of those series where the ball dominates, unless the pitches are roads.

When it comes to winning the ashes the saffers have no chance.
