How do you go from one of the best keeper/batsmen in the world to hopefully getting dropped.

cricket like all sports is a funny game, you could be on top of the world one minute and then bang it all comes crashing down.

you will never get them.
 yeah, that's the funny thing, they make a lot of noise about winning the Ashes, but the actual urn never leaves Lords.
A piece of aging wood bits with dust, or a trophy? I'll take the latter.

I hope england win the toss and bat, just to make things interesting a bit and give Mitch the new ball on day 1, session 1.

And in only 2 days... Seems I was right on Friday, but you had to disagree....

what/when/where did you tell me this on Friday?

I've calmed down on him a bit now as well, he'll come good again but batted terribly and his glovework hasn't been up to scratch.

If we lose here then give him a break and Bairstow has to come in

Only chance England has to win, is top order needs to bat out the day!

Cook and Carberry need to take the hostile Aussie attack and KP needs to step up. He has been very dissapointing all series.
Root will score runs

but with a weakening pitch and cracks galore, the poms may struggle to chase anything near 400, let alone 350

England will not get the runs, it's all about if Australia can take the 8 more with Brroad coming in at 11.

Just been sent the script for this game. Broad comes in at number 11 and holds on bravely on one foot for the draw.

Half way for each side virtually. Half the wickets taken, half the runs target scored.

I have to admit, the commentary this series so far has been atrocious. With no Tony (RIP), Bill and Richie keeping a lid on things, the channel 9 team have been, by and large, bloody annoying. I actually dont mind Bumble Lloyd, one of the few who at least are a bit entertaining.

Hawkesy is your signature pic one of irony?

If you're putting the home side first that score could be correct after today's play.

Very delicately poised, but you'd favor the Aussies. Good on England for fighting back, made it interesting.

Agree, the Australian contingent have been particularly gloating about prematurely handing over the Ashes...will it take two days etc. etc.
Very annoying, particularly the one Hawkesy refers to as the 'drug cheat'.

Just laziness on my behalf, just flick the telly on etc.

Also hate when they replay wickets taken - whats with the "circles", computer imagery everywhere etc etc. Just show the bloody dismissal!
