Bomber can have the benefit of doubt for the moment, I have faith that he will answer.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
Is Alex Leapai NOT a heavyweight champion? He may not be WORLD champion just yet, but he could be soon.
Rugby - maybe only Scotland but we played our reserve side.
Golf - not our problem who decides to show up for a World Cup trophy.

he's not world champion now and I doubt he ever will be. He's not going to beat wladamir.
PLUS, he's not even really australian.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
So, is it official that australia doesn't have a new boxing heavyweight champion.
Has there ever been a heavyweight world champion from australia?

Not quite "world champ" as such, but another near enough.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
shows how far you lot have slumped if you're claiming UK championships and pacific championships now.
Oh dear, I remembered when you lot were good at sport.
I think it was Michael Atherton to shane warne once. "yes I remember when we were so bad at sport that we had to reply on snooker"

More the point an Aussie winning in a sport thats truly the domain of the poms in their own backyard says enough.God is an Englishman wrote:shows how far you lot have slumped if you're claiming UK championships and pacific championships now.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
Not relying on it at all. One person mentions it and you get all defensive. Last time we played:God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:He's done that before

Cricket - Australia won
RL - Australia won
RU - England won (granted) but we beat the six nations champs
Football - Australia won
More like once your country was reasonable at sport, exceeded us during a minor spell and now back to being rubbish again.
I guess you have darts to keep your spirits up.

I think you'll find England won the last series in cricketBomber wrote:Not relying on it at all. One person mentions it and you get all defensive. Last time we played:

RL - couldn't care less
RU - ENGLAND
Football - only beaten us once in a friendly, clearly we are far superior
You'll be trying to claim a pan pacific boxing champion who isn't even an aussie next. HOLD ON, you already have.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
standing on an ironing board in the sea, while stoned and dodging sharks isn't a sport.
Re: Another Aussie world champ
I know you fear the sea but just because it is an unknown quantity shouldn't deter you as it does. Even the French aren't scared to dip their toes and make the most of their beautiful beaches in their country.God is an Englishman wrote:standing on an ironing board in the sea, while stoned and dodging sharks isn't a sport.
