How bad was Celtic's defending from corners? i've seen better defending in the A-league

Will be very hard to beat arsenal, who are playing very good football at present.
Only the home crowd and their loud cheering could have an impact on this game, hopefully disrupting arsenal.
Chelsea struggled last campaign

I still think it will end in a draw.

Napoli needed a result in Borussia to have a chance to progress
But with Dortmund to beat Marseille away, this result wont have any relevance unless Napoli win by x3 or more.
Another Einstein. Napoli only needed a draw to progress.

A draw is not a result?????

neways, If Napoli drew then it would of been easier to progress
Arsenal 12 pts
Napoli 10
Dortmund 7
Marseille 0

only needed a draw at home against Arsenal to progress, or even a loss as even if Borussia thumped Marseille, and Napoli lost to arsenal, Napoli would of been on 10 points, same at Borussia but having a better head to head result, Napoli would of gone through next round?

If we drew, we'd be all but through dipshit.

& I use the term "we" very very loosely.

NO. That's not what you said.
You said it would have been & I quote "easier to progress"

As for your last line, it ends with a ?
Just to confirm the fact you have zero clue.

The sentence read, "if we drew we may progress" when in fact if we had drawn we would have progressed, end of story as our head to head would have been negated vs Dortmund and with Marseille nowhere in sight, there would have been no issue.

I too use the term "we" loosely.

Thank u for picking out my incorrect use of the "?"
Next time I should run it by urself, just so u can sleep better at night?

end of the day, Napoli NEEDED a result being a draw or better to progress to next round - and they didn't achieve that.

Progression to the next round is very difficult, and we need at least a point against Arsenal and a miracle like Marseille actually beating Borussia; fat chance that happening!

Was the problem the snow? The fact that it may have been unexpected snow? Or the lack of organised ground staff to deal with snow?

I didn't think snow would halt a match.

Orange ball, orange lines, game on.

It's odd - they were about two thirds through making the lines clear and painting them orange, then the word comes through that it was abandoned. So not sure exactly why.

Decent game. Arsenal played a solid game, conceded a decent goal and were lazy for the second (but down to ten men)

Perhaps if Napoli played a bit more football in the 1st half rather than committing a foul every 2 seconds they would have done better.

Done better than 2-0?
Not easy.

The sound coming out of the San Paolo was impressive.

More fool Napoli IMO. Go 1 nil up 15 mins to play, Arteta gets sent off 2 mins later, complexion of the game changed, yet you sit back stop the high line of pressure you played (& did this very well) & then just stopped playing assuming the win & the result as it stood in the other tie would be enough to see you thru! Boom Dortmund score, you put the pressure back on get a 2nd in injury time GAME OVER!

As a Gooner I wasnt happy with the way we played, nor the result but was happy sitting back & watching you guys stop playing after the goal. I believe if you didnt stop we would of got beat by 3 or more goals & you would of qualified & we would be with the Spuds in that Mickey mouse comp Europa!

Napoli shouldn't have sat back anyways after they were 1-0 up. You never know what could have happened in the other match. Was I the only one that noticed that Napoli scored their second with approx 2:30 gone of injury time and the ref blew the whistle straight after. They probably wouldn't have scored but surely an extra minute would have been normal to have played on?

Its not Playstation you know. You dont just whip in a cross and score.

Cant be too critical of the team, the fouls come as a result of a tense game and trying to apply a high line.

I was frustrated at 1-0 that we didn't push on and apply more pressure, however we were probably never really going to win 3-0.

Still need reinforcements in January, big time. No Hamsik, Inler or Reina and we still more or less looked the better of the two teams.

Always amazes me the standard 1-2 minutes is played at the end of the first half - there were about 20 fouls in the first half today and no injury time????

I found that very strange too, but i wasnt complaining.

I thought Mertens was going to get himself sent off but he seemed to settle in the second half.
