Bomber wrote:I'm with swanny (re follow on) - the weather forecast even then was that Monday could be dodgy, now it may come back to haunt them (again). The bowlers would have had an extra session of bowling, meaning they'd probably be all out by now. Madness, and Boof and Clarke should know better.
That said, hopefully the sun will emerge soon and we can get on with it. 8)

U want to give the bowlers a rest, with the perth test starting friday, u dont want to burn them out, especially Harris who is known to break down to easily.

Good call by Clarke, I would hate being the ones chasing a total on day 5.

A must say, after all the abuse given to Root, he was the only Pom to show true grit and fight back. Even for a little girl looking pom, he has massive balls to stick it and courage to take a few body shots from johnson and harris.
He deserved 100

the rest of the pom batsmen apart from Bell, havent shown any courage from the short stuff.

Oh and Broad is becoming even a bigger twat, if thats at all possible!

It:s not as though they are all continuously bowling at once, plus they would have had the whole day of rest today.

eggs have alot of protein and very good for muscle repair.
So in effect, sucking eggs will have more of a benefit to the auusies, than not

Regardless of the result, Mitch Johnson is doing way too much talking and glaring...alll fine whilst you're on a roll but it can quickly come back to haunt you if things aren't going your way....let the ball do the talking.
Concentrate on bowling + occasional words of advice...not after every ball !

Why not keep the boot firmly down on their throats?

The English team looks frightened of him and they have no fight left.

Because it makes him look like an arrogant wanker....keep the foot on the throat with results...

The poms now have the WACA pitch to look forward to. Almost hope they win the toss and bat this time, at least could make it a bit more interesting.

got Boxing Day tickets, here's hoping WACA is a draw or an English win, would be great to see Australia take home the Ashes at the home of cricket in Australia.

I enjoy the entertainment he provides and the excuses and his overall Teflon approach.

If you look at the teams on paper, 5-0 was very probably. On grass unfortunately, 5-0 is also looking possible.
