Re: West Adelaide Womens Soccer Club announcement
I thought that new teams into the women's comp had to start in a lower div. West Adelaide Have combined with Olympic women's side side and have been told you arw in the Premier League. Do they have Junior teams ready to go and you look at a club lik Para Hills United who have done done everything the the correct way, are they being given the opportunity or is it because Ross Aloisi is coach of Adelaide United Womens and West Adelaide mens Prems team. Be interested to know the answer.

No not a new team or club just Adelaide Olympic WFC returning to its Original name and Original roots, witch started as West Adelaide WSC.
Re: West Adelaide Womens Soccer Club announcement
I must be missing something.
- Newly formed does not mean New team/club?
- West Adelaide Women's Soccer Club do they have established junior girls teams?
FFSA 14/15 do not have junior teams and they were accepted into the Women's Premier League.
Reading the various topics in this forum suggests its who you know.
I can see how other clubs, who have worked their way up and have followed the rules set by the FFSA, would be very disheartened.

Reality check doom sayers….The women’s comp doesn’t have the luxury of being selective. I don’t slam the clubs. They don’t have the cattle to keep a competitive team on the pitch year in year out. Clubs that fold are usually because they have lost many players. If West Adelaide come back into the fold, then I would welcome them back with open arms. In the recent past they were a very competitive team and one that should be afforded courtesy. Not complaints. They don’t need to go through the lower leagues. If that did occur, I (West ADELAIDE) would walk away.

WA on a whole are well on the way up and are sure to be a powerhouse again in SA football .. this can only be good for the Women's leagues and though I don't have too much involvement in the women's leagues apart from knowing some girls who play (and will now be coming to WA) think it would have to be a fresh lease of life for the leagues as the women's teams will be well backed and set up.
