Lady Reds vs Girls NTC 6 nil (2:0 half time)

First half entertaining but second half dull.
2 maybe 3 goals came from simple pass back errors from NTC resulting in immediate goals for L/Reds.
Waterhouse played for NTC and dominated especially in first half while Chidiac also played NTC and was a handful for the Reds midfield.
Some interesting statistics from the game although with a fairly one-sided result hard to read a lot in to them.
NTC dominated possession in the 2nd half but by far the majority of possession play was across the last line defenders & GK plus a little with the HMF dropping deep. L/Reds sat off in formation forcing the NTC girls to eventually come at them.
The Lady Reds transition passing from the defence to attack was great at times although that dropped off completely 2nd half because NTC mainly had possession and Barbieri generally went long with her possessions as stats show transitions happened with 3, 2 or 1 pass.
Lady Reds inability to keep the ball in the 2nd half in opposition half clearly shown with 10 single passes before losing the ball.

Would agree 1st half was great by NTC, thought they had more play, second half the younger NTC players came on and struggled with physical side bearing in mind they r only 15 years of age and had only 4 training sessions together, things look bad for Lady Reds, if they can't dominate for the whole game .
