Provided they can find someone good enough to replace him.
They are sick and tired of the way he is affecting the morale of the rest of the squad.
If you look in the Mirror, all you're gonna see is a load of crap
But seriously, it looks like he wants out and it's only a matter of time.

Seriously? He doesn't even look slightly disinterested at the moment.

Maybe "looks" was the wrong word. I think he's very professional and will always give 101%, so I don't think you'll see any difference on the pitch. You'd have to admit that, pre-season, he was looking to move and reports from the UK are that he's still looking, but is willing to bide his time. I doubt that his ambition has disappeared in half a dozen games.
Of course, if his partnership with Sturridge propels Liverpool to the CL places or higher, things might well change, but I don't think he's fully committed to staying at the moment.

If Liverpool stood firm pre-season saying that it’s too close to the start of the season, would disrupt plans, no value in transfer market that late etc then where’s the logic in selling him mid-season?
Especially if you’re in with a real shot at top4?

If I was Liverpool, I wouldn't sell him either, especially in January, but it doesn't change the 'fact' that he's interested in moving on.
Looks a bit like the Bale situation, if you qualify for CL, he might well stay, if not, I suspect he'll be off at the end of the year.

I feel he made the saga bigger than what it was. He looks happy now and settled. Can't see him leaving Liverpool any time soon especially if a top 4 spot is closed in on
