Gaelic Football season 13/14 (get fit over summer)

Post by Spurs23 »

Onkaparinga Gaelic Football Club are seeking female players for their Women's squad for the 13/14 season.

Gaelic Football is a great way to keep fit over summer, in time for the next soccer season in 2014. The sport is a cross between soccer and AFL. It is fast, fun and skilful.

The competition starts on the 18th October, but feel free to come and have a look first. All games are held at St Marys Park (opposite old Mitsubishi site)

The club has a very long and successful record, with the team making finals consistently. We have both a men's and women's team and we are very competitive but social at the same time.

It would be great to see more soccer girls giving it a go, as it really does help with the physical side to your game, as well as coordination, stamina and definitely fitness. For us, it's always good to get out new, enthusiastic and skilful players.

Finally, fees are v. cheap.

Contact Lauren on laurendaniel88@hotmail.com or 0401260994 if you would like to know details about trainings, games, rules, the club or anything.

Thanks!
