Who scored the Brahma Lodge goal in the Reserves and who scored the two goals for Sturt Marion ( I think Tim Bowman got 1) ?

Congrats to Salisbury Inter. Thought the game was a cracker but we just couldn't take our chances. Some good goals on both sides.

Sturt scorers were Bowman and Thomas.

Swanny if you could pm I'd love to discuss grabbing some pics from you mate.

Good luck to Gardens and Inter in 2 weeks.
We are focused on league and reserves now.

St Peters goal scorer was actually Andrew Vettesse.

Thought we gave Mr X a little too much room in the middle in the second half and he almost got Farm back into it.

Terrible late challenge in the second half and agree should have been a red but the ref could have given out one or two yellows at times to our lads and simple gave a warning so I guess that bit was consistent.

Bring on the final in two weeks. Top of div 1 vs the top of div 2!!
Thanks mate, but in all honestly Mr X was rather average yesterday, goals win games, and you boys took your chance and we squandered ours.

Good luck in the Final

Though Brahma's keeper, Ben O'Hara, had a good game to keep Farm goaless !

Well done to Brahma Lodge on their win in the ressies today. We were our own worst enemies out on the park, missing chances and not playing as a team. Brahma weren't as physical as I thought however, (and don't take this as an excuse for losing the game to a much much much more determined brahma side).......

That had to be one of the worst refereeing displays I've been involved in, there were some shockers. We should have had one sent off for a wreckless and dangerous after the play foul and so many free kicks went missing.

Good luck to both sides in the final and ingle farm in 2014.
Fair assessment thought we were the better in 1st half and you lads big time in the second. Lacked that killer instinct though. We had 3 of the 4 best chances of the game and thankfully took 1 of them. Can't go giving Gardens that much possession near goal.

Ref was woeful. He didn't even play 45 minutes in the 1st half even though there was a big bottle of shiraz digital screen showing the time elapsed for everyone there to see
Yes, most of the crowd were chuckling when the referee, after being queried why he had played a few minutes short, was waving his watch under someone's nose. Everyone, including him, glanced up at the Clock and it read 44 mins 50 sec

Absolutely, gumbo had a very good game in goals. Trust a keeper to notice how good another keeper was :D

Have to assume that the scoreboard clock was started at the same time as the referees...

Gardens should do the double in a trott. To have to former Joeys/A-league players and a former Premier league striker all only 31/32, add bringing Cantanzaro off the bench, they've got the spine of the team covered with great experience. That showed big time vs a BOSA side who didn't have a single player in the starting 11 (and only Dino when he came on) who can claim to have been a regular 1st team player in the local FFSA premier league. If Dino was 5 years younger he would have been able to do a lot more damage. I could imagine Gardens winning next years double as well if Louis / Aaron / Shane all drop a few and get proper fit.

Drop a few what...??
Louis takes the pi$$ in the middle
Aaron is the general in defense none shall pass
Shane did you see the game his 2nd goal ???
The only player carrying a extra kilo or 2 is the cat and if
he dropped a few he could still do this .....

Couldn't get over how poor the wall was organised...Mennillo seems to be bending over so the Cat can go over the top of him...
However, well taken....still has to get in the goal.... :)
If I were still keeping I'd demand players on the posts for free kicks from that distance..especially with the likes of Catanzaro (or Day) standing over the ball.

That's kinda of the point. If they all got proper fit e.g. if still playing FFSA premier league, then Gardens would walk the league in and the cup. I was at the game, and have played with or against them all in the premier league, hence why it was a compliment to say that they dominated on Sunday and could get even better if they wanted to.

Well I hear your Kinda point ... My point is.... do they need to ...? they can still do both .... Ok it wasn't a walk ....but... I'm sure that I would be happy in backing them to do it again next season wouldn't you ..?
