I meant both teams playing havent dropped points....
Yes Napoli, Fiorentina and Roma also have max points, but their not playing another team on a perfect x2 wins

Re: Serie A 2013-14
We did it tough last night until Hamsik and co came on an deservedly got the win.
Rested about 5 players - one eye on Dortmund at Home on Thursday morning which is going to be awesome to watch.
Higuain on target again and I reckon we will get 20 goals out of him this year. Callejon has been the big bolter so far this year.
Bit disappointed with Mertens so far, might take some time for him to settle.

The bloody Icardi did it again against us, four goals in three games now!
Fair result, Juve had the better of the first half, but Inter fought back. They are much better defensively under Mazzarri.

Great to see the bow and arrow celebration back
Very happy for Calaio to score for his new club in the derby del lanterna
Always a great game to watch as a neutral
I will never forget the goals he scored for us to get us back to Serie A

Agree, always a great derby.
Impressed with Roma so far. These are the sort of games they would have (actually, they did) throw away under Zeman. But now comes their biggest test, with Lazio this weekend.

Derby time...Rome this weekend, and it's on at 10:30 too which is good for us. Napoli - Milan later on, which should also be good. I'm also interested in seeing Sassuolo, they've struggled so far, now would be a great time to get their first win
Cagliari - Sampdoria
Chievo - Udinese
Genoa - Livorno
Sassuolo - Inter
Atalanta - Fiorentina
Bologna - Torino
Catania - Parma
Juventus - Verona
Roma - Lazio
Milan - Napoli
Cagliari - Sampdoria
Chievo - Udinese
Genoa - Livorno
Sassuolo - Inter
Atalanta - Fiorentina
Bologna - Torino

Juventus - Verona
Roma - Lazio
Milan - Napoli
Re: Serie A 2013-14
What a crazy finish in the Cagliari-Sampdoria match. Three goals in the final three minutes, with Gabbiadini cancelling out Ekdal's fine opener. Then Conti restored Cagliari's lead by curling in a free kick, then De Silvestri made it 2-2. All the while, Samp were robbed of a goal in the first half. It was a poor offside call.
Re: Serie A 2013-14
Was one-way traffic in Turin, but Verona took a surprising lead with their first shot. Pogba had one cleared off the line, then Tevez quickly equalised. He had another shot which hit both posts and bounced out, then Llorente headed in the winner. Pogba hit the bar in the second half. Could/should have won by more, but a good response after the two draws.
Inter absolutely mauled Sassuolo. It was embarrassing stuff. Ended 7-0, with Sassuolo continually caught out playing a high defensive line. Was far too easy for Inter. Good news for them, Milito made his return from injury and netted twice.
Giuseppe Rossi with his fourth of the season for Fiorentina, great to see him back from his injury problems.
Well done Pepe Reina, the first to save a Balotelli penalty!

Not the most polished performance from Napoli, but the players that have been brought in really making a difference. Higuain, Callejon and Reina all been excellent in the first month.
All the talk about Higuain being overpriced is being out to bed with continued improvement in his performance and not just goals.
Great first half, not so great second but I'll take the 3 points - not done by Napoli since April 1986 at the San Siro.
Sassuolo at home Thursday pezze di merda hopefully we give them 5

Was a good performance by Juve, something stupid like 35 shots on goal to 2, with the Chievo keeper making 13 odd saves and us hitting the post and bar. But good to be back on track and keeping up with pacesetters Napoli and Roma.
Tevez is perfectly suited to Conte's system, and great to see Llorente brush off some of his critics with a nice headed goal. Not only was the goal well taken, but his hold up play and touches near goal were also nice.
Thought Isla had a good game as well.

Round 5
Udinese 1-0 Genoa
Bologna - Milan
Chievo - Juventus
Lazio - Catania
Livorno - Cagliari
Parma - Atalanta
Napoli - Sassuolo
Sampdoria - Roma
Torino - Verona
Inter - Fiorentina
So, how many for Sassuolo this time?
we'll see how Milan go Balotelli-less. He played quite well vs Napoli, missed penalty and red card notwithstanding. Milan's other strikers will have to step up.
Inter - Fiorentina should be a good one, a test of each side's credentials.

Happy for Sassuolo, who have recovered well from that drubbing. Nobody would have thought after that loss that they would pick up draws against Napoli and Lazio.
The Derby della Mole wasn't pretty, but the key thing was to win. And to get a clean sheet, especially after we had conceded the first goal in a match for the last four games.
Gasperini has replaced Liverani after Genoa's loss to Napoli. Glad to see Gasp back, but Preziosi pays for another odd coaching choice.
Incredible stuff from Roma. Hasn't been the toughest start to the season for them (big game with Inter this weekend) but they are doing what they must, and as we saw vs Bologna, they've learned to score in the first half too

Roma's performance at Inter on Saturday was fantastic. Totti as good as ever, netting a brace and starting the third goal. Was a devastating first half from the Giallorossi.
Juve got the win, again had to do it the hard way after conceding first. Few things to iron out, but happy to have gotten the win. The international break comes at the right time I think.

Deserved 2 pens, but after the few favorable decision's that have gone our way its good they weren't awarded.
3 points and lets move on, we made hard work out of a poor Milan side. Surprised we didn't score 2 or 3 more, but all in all it was another game we showed that we are better then most even when not being at our usual high standard.
Roma look like the Juve of 2 season's ago and are in great form.
Their fixture with Napoli next week will be a great game, would be fair if this become the first Serie A game shown on Fox 1.

Re: Serie A 2013-14
Trouble brewing again in Serie A. The decision to make Milan play their next home game behind closed doors due to regional descrimination has prompted Galliani to come out and call for the abolishment of the ruling which creates parity between regional descrimination and racial descrimination. He has even claimed that all the other presidents are behind him, yet to hear confirmation of that though.
Lega president has come out in support suggesting that these laws hand back the control of the stadiums to the offenders, which is exactly what is evolving at the moment with a Juventus ultras group and the Inter ultras speaking out saying that they will intentionally act up to force the majority of a Serie A round to be played behind closed doors. They are claiming regional rivalry has always existed and is a right of free speech. I think the issue is that it has gone past just rivalry, and this is why it was encompassed under the racism ruling.
Either way you look at it, it is another blight on the league, Serie A will continue to go backwards if something isn't done to stamp out the trouble makers, every control measure that they have introduced to combat the issue hasn't seemed to work, some innovative solutions need to be sourced. Sick of this shite clouding the football that is being played on the pitch.

Can't say I agree with closing stadiums over this issue, and as club presidents have said, it leaves the door open for a few to ruin it for the rest. I wonder what will happen next weekend if this planned 'protest' goes ahead, with Juve and Inter ultra saying they will chant things of a territorial nature, and hope other fans groups do the same, to see if all get punished.Trezegoal #17 wrote:Trouble brewing again in Serie A. As for Llorente - well, the best (and by that, I mean the worst and those scraping the barrel) rumours happen during international week.

Serie A is finally back and a few big games this weekend. Roma - Napoli, Milan - Udinese, Atalanta - Lazio, Fiorentina - Juventus and Torino - Inter all live on Rai. Cagliari - Catania might be too, but I don't know if the kickoff time is actually confirmed (!). At least we know Cagliari are back playing at the Sant'Elia.

Result obviously not great, but score didnt tell the whole story. We missed 2 terrific chances before half time but went in behind.
Thought we played well, the penalty..... less said, the better.
