Havent had too much time to celebrate but Congratulations to the committee led by Doddsy, coaching staff led by Duane, John & Danny, the players & all the Gardens faithful who have helped out & supported the club each week. After so many questions being asked about Gardens preseason its great to finally answer them with a League Double yet again. Brought a smile to my face driving through Mawson Lakes last night thinking Argana Park would be in darkness as I could see the floodlights at Gardens shining bright with the boys preparing for the Cup finals.

UUUUU GARDENS!!!

For a club with so much recent success, the
pawafield hierarchy must ask its self
1. why did the coach leave
2.why are the players leaving
3.why is the support dwindling
4.why did you only get 8 people at your AGM
5. WHY CANT YOU FIND A COACH

For such a "proud" club with "strong family values"
these are a few prickly questions one should ask ones self!!

Somethings off at pawafield
Yep off to Hindmarsh

With a Sunday Premier League Double & both teams in cup semi final, the Women Div 3 League win & Colts League win & cup final birth I would say the state of the club when he leaves :D

pawafield hierarchy must ask its self
1. why did the coach leave..... Ask Steve
2.why are the players leaving.... New ones coming
3.why is the support dwindling..... Few new faces this year and the crowd at home for the Downs game didn't lend any support to your comment
4.why did you only get 8 people at your AGM.... How many do we need?
5. WHY CANT YOU FIND A COACH.... Think we did :)

For such a "proud" club with "strong family values"
these are a few prickly questions one should ask ones self!!.... Hope all answered for you :)

The celebrations were going off :)

The biggest regret for season 2013 is that the Mongs won't be at Hindmarsh this year. It would have been nice to sing a few rounds of that sing they were singing last year. Legless will have fond memories of it - Downs gonna win phuc all this year"

Yeah and how about the time before that? Does your selective memory go back to the 5-0 drubbing the year before as well? :D

I still have the photo of the score board if you can't remember.

maybe all these clubs could invite him to their presentation night as a goodwill gesture, with everything provided complimentary ?

I know very little about photography, one would imagine it all takes time -travel, taking photos, sorting through them, scanning etc.

Just a thought.

Craysnot - I'm not sure money does buy happiness but winning three Championships in four years does seem to do the trick at our club. We are all pretty happy at the moment. What do you do for happiness? Seems like making up silly excuses for failure works for you - keep up the good work, you're on a run :D

There was a lot of true happiness at the Gardens yesterday with players
supporters and their families attending a family day at the club.
The kids enjoyed a day of fun games that cost nothing.
It's this kind of environment that brings players and supporters
to our club, it's not about money ....it's about the friendships !
