sigh: berate these teams for their alleged actions but don't accuse them of these misdemeanors because of your stereotypical perceptions because of the colour of their skin. Seriously people, grow up.

Re: Answers please?
Could I just point out that these views are not shared by everyone at Seaford.
“Well done lad, but remember, you’re still only half as good as I was” – Dixie Dean to Bob Latchford after his 30th league goal in ’78
Re: Answers please?
It's unfortunate that one or two have ignored the underlying concern of the majority (ie a fair contest) & used this to vent their own racial or religous in-tolerance.ZegnaArmani wrote:+1ontheblackburner wrote:sigh: berate these teams for their alleged actions but don't accuse them of these misdemeanors because of your stereotypical perceptions because of the colour of their skin. I like most from Ghan, Blue Nile and probably even Polonia was not born in Aust but in my view where your from is not the issue.
The issue has been clearly and concisly outlined to the SAASL without any predujices. Whilst we await the outcome hopefully those with other agendas will understand that their outrageous views only help those who they are attacking

Does that suffice for no further investigation though? I guess we should accept it and move on, but Ghan, Blue Nile etc, will forever be tarred with whats obviously a smelly brush.bloodypassit wrote:my info from a reliable source says the score will stand after the referee was interviewed and verified the score

People are to complacent, & just don't speak up enough.
No wonder the sport doesn't get taken seriously here, when people in charge can't even run the sport at grass roots level.
Fuck'n joke!

Quote: "Does that suffice for no further action though?"
What you mean is: "Does interviewing the ref suffice for enough further action?"
Answer: "It depends what the ref said."
As noted above if Blue Nile in their last game of the season, which meant nothing to them, just played dead, without any prearranging for a massive score, then there's not much that can be done.
Who knows what happened.
IMO if it had been prearranged then there would have been a goal rush from the start, yet the person who went for 10-15 minutes at the start of the game saw no score.
Also why score 28-4 when they had spies at the Polonia game and 18-0 would have been enough (with a couple of goals to spare) and would have been easier to believe?

Re: Answers please?
Quick question - shouldn't giving up and conceding over 20 goals in the last 20 minutes of the game still against the spirit of the rules? Isn't that what melb were found guilty of in the afl? They didn't 'tank' or basically preareange to lose, but rather didn't try to win....ended up in heavy sanctions.
IMO conceding 20 goals in the last 20 minutes of the game is a joke and questions the integrity of the league. Whether it was arranged with ghan or blue Nile just threw in the towel someone should get punished. If its just blue nile giving up then they should be heavily sanctioned for bringing the integrity of the league into question. Even if ghan did nothing wrong then maybe they should keep the title but blue nile should still be heavily punished and rejected from next year for all I've mentioned above at the very least.

Has Polonia received an official reply from the league?
Are all results standing and will Ghan be named champion of Div 4A / B?

I'd be going to presentation and if the score stands then I would be definitely be standing up as they announce div 4 winner and yelling "THIS IS FARKING RIGGED" What would the Gutless Moronic Amateur league do? Fark all as normal. Whatever happened the "True" nature of the game has been called into disrepute

Re: Answers please?
no shock to me the double standard applies here. no other clubs with years in the league would be able to get away with this. i absolutely know seaford wouldent and mr hatchet squad would surely have to agree with me on this whether he likes it or not. on that subject let me make it quite clear. my opinions are my own. i dont speak for seaford because i dont have to. seaford made their thoughts plain when they elected not to play them and if other clubs were prudent enough to follow our example the league would have to bite the bullet and take some sort of action because the comp is a joke at this point in time. feel sorry for polonia who were the best team in our league this year.ZegnaArmani wrote:News just in.
