I wouldn't care mate, because as bizzare as the score sounds it was clearly a tactical one! And if given the chance I would do the same...and every club would and you all know it, If your rival club relied on you winning your last match, Im sure you would go out with the mid set not winning!...

And Polonia's 14-1 against Athlestone in Round 17 looks a bit dodgy as well, considering Athelstone had conceded no more than 6 in any game prior to that.

We (Athelstone) couldn't manage a full 11 in the reserves and then a few players doubled up for the A's... and there is also the issue of our occasional defensive meltdowns throughout the season. Polonia beat us fair and square in that one.

My sympathies for Polonia; Anyone playing in Div 4 saw the antics that Blue Nile (with their Fed players) and Ghan (fingers up the bum and some nasty tackles) pulled throughout the season and would have no doubt that an agreement was struck. The only positive if the result sticks is that we only have to play one of these teams in Div 4 next season.

Amateur League have put up the results and unfortunately the results for the Ghan v Niles stands at 28-4 A's and 19-1 for the B's

I too sympathies with all the teams that have had to put up with all this carry on with a few of these teams.
There should be NO tolerance from the league, for the actions of these teams. Sounds like 1 team just keep popping up under a new name & the League doesn't batter a eye lid. Quiet happy to take the money , but when tough decisions need to be made from the League , they seemed to be wanting.

Yes I know these are Amateur Leagues & it's voluntary,bla, bla bla, but enough is enough . There needs to be decisions made by the league swiftly to stop these teams making a mockery of the game, & sport we all enjoy.

Why should there be different rules for others. If half of this sort of carry on happened in the higher divisions there would be hell to pay, with consequences.
This type of shit ain't going away until the Officials grow some balls & short these "divs" out.
