From what I heard was that by the time the league looked at your protest, the player/s that you complained about had gotten registered and for some reason they couldn't prove that he was illegal at your game. Don't ask my why that is!

As for the Payhneham Postel protest we went through the right steps we told the ref that they were playing illegal players pointed them out and the ref took notes and filled in his paper work to give to the SAASL and we did out paperwork with the complaint along with very good clear pictures of the players being accused. The photos contained 3 different views of the players in the strips 1 view of the backs showing their number, then a side view of their face and a front view of their face. Those 3 profiles helped us a lot.
Crazylegs- our appeal sounds exactly like yours, photos, paper work, proof, ref report etc....we did exactly as instructed by the league...
thats why we dont understand how it is that they didnt lose points.
I also think that its in payneham's best interest that ghan gets at least 3 points taken as that would get you guys promoted i believe....
anyway i have just been told we are to re submit our protest for another look
I hope it all goes well for you guys and the SAASL do look into it better and reward you guys the points. Yes it would work out extremely well for us if Ghan get stripped off 3 points, it would place us 2nd and will get us out of this Div 4. Crap.

swan sorry highly overpaid volunteers if you know them that well.....I volunteer to to clean the scum out of the competition....why would it be in the interest to keep clubs like this in the league ....are they government funded
Not defending their actions, just pointing out some error in your still incorrect accusations.

Lets just see how they (SAASL) handle this situation first before firing bullets.
Decisions must be done swiftly though and the referee's report at the game in question should be pivotal to the outcome.

I can confirm that we have submitted our enquiry to the league and now await the outcome.

In the interim, I think it's best just to see how this one is dealt with the league and go from there.

It's heartening to know we have the support of many on here and hopefully, we have some positive news to report in the not-to-distant future.

Hears hoping that common sense and justice prevails.

lets all take a chill pill for now, its all heat of the moment stuff right now. The protest has been sent, with another being re submitted soon... see what happens in good time i guess...

If the account given regarding the game, and the way it was played, is correct. The score may well be legit, IF, being last game of season, and not even 11 players showed up. Blue Nile my well have just be out there for fun and not cared about the result as it meant nothing to them. IF they played a unregistered players then that works for Polonia as it will become a 3-0 result. IF it's a case of two teams working together to engineer a result, then both teams should have major bans imposed (doesn't matter what FIFA's laws are as SAASL is not recognised by FIFA, but their laws could be used as a blueprint). However, IF, it is merely a case of Blue Nile not giving a f$%# about the result, making it a legitimate score then it's unfortunate for Polonia but Ghan would have done nothing wrong.
Regardless of outcome, Polonia are promoted (is there any financial reward for 1st?), so you will still have achieved what I'm sure was the goal at the start of the season.

How are you going to prove anything that they actually cheated? To say they only scored this in the season & then scored that in the last game won't hold up. I feel your pain if they have cheated its perthetic, but I think you'll need actual proof.

SAASL DIV.1 CHAMPIONS 73,75,78,02,10,11,13
CHALLENGE CUP WINNERS 74,75,80,08,10,11,13
SAASL DIV.1 RES. CHAMPIONS 71,75,77,78,79,94,11,13
RES. CUP WINNERS 73,75,76,13
CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS 10
CICHANOWSKI SHIELD 90,08,11,12,14

i hear what you're saying, and yes it will be difficult to prove.
I have read the very well constructed protest, it leaves no stone unturned, it is a very well informed and well documented piece. i think i addresses what you have mentioned very well actually but we just have to wait and see.
like i said we have been told to re submit our original protest to the legue regarding ghan playing unregistered players in and earlier round which we though would have been a no brainer.

Cant wait for next season if indeed Ghan are stripped of points for this game. It will be sooo much fun playing against Ghan, Blue Nile and also our lovely friends at AYS in Div 4 next year.

we all know and they know its not legit, the federation know its not legit, but as usual nothing will probably be done as was when we protested for ghan playing unregistered players and providing evidence for this.....it would be interesting what stance they would take if this was a result in sunday premier league between a parafield or downs that decided the championship....

Exactly. Gardens 13-0 to win a reserves title on GD on the last day of the season is a bit suss.

And Polonia's 14-1 against Athlestone in Round 17 looks a bit dodgy as well, considering Athelstone had conceded no more than 6 in any game prior to that.

Nice user name kurwa....if it wasn't a Polish word that few would know it would be banned.
However, given it matches your attitude I guess it is fine.

These will be great games to be a part of, contested by teams who actually want to play the game instead of punch on

Having played the teams in Div 4, I think Polonia at their best would thrash Athelstone, so this is not a comparison. However 28 - 4 = 32 goals in one game, even being generous that it would take about a minute to restart after each goal, would mean virtually a goal every 2 minutes, totally unbelievable.

We will just have to wait till the Amateur League sort out all the game results and update their web site to see if the Ghan v Niles game scores are real or not, theses are really just based on the phone through results they said not the team sheets the ref's hand in. As some one said they could just be taking the piss out of us phoning through bogus results to stir everyone up.

Stingrays were bottom in the league last year, not fourth & most teams were beating them by more than 10 goals.

Unfortunately there is nothing suss about the gardens v pontian game. The farm should'be put about 15 by them aswell. They've struggled all year.

That was a top team playing a bottom team and last year everyone was kicking Stingrays ass. They were struggling with away games, not having a full squad and most home games. Their A's ended up last year bottom with 28 goals for and 191 against. Payneham got ripped off both times when playing them, the 1st time they ended up with a full team and the 2nd time the forfeited on us.

If that's the score that's the score! Football is a tactical game, It's like calling a team a cheat for going out to get a draw!
Anyway the whole season in most leagues has been a complete shambles courtesy of the SAASL!!
