On a serious note, feel bad for Polonia... Blue Nile, Ghan, Young Stars in div 3, 3 really dodgy teams going by what is written on here/what I have seen. SAASL need to sort this all out asap.

Not correct - Blue Nile definate Div 4 & AYS should also be relegated to Div 4 -so only Ghan at most in Div 3 next year

What? Where does it say those three teams are in div 3? Grammar is a wonderful thing champion. Point of the post was to highlight the dodgy teams, two of which are in div 4 and one in div 3.

Edit: never mind

I see people post things like its not unlikely or heard off that teams have beaten other teams by big margines I've seen it if it is a top team verse a bottom team but not a 2nd placed team thrashing a 4 th place team like that

A goal every 3 mins or so. Get fuc$&ed, don't believe it. Cheating mofo's to undo 18 rounds of hard work I really feel for Polonia. Commiserations guys I hope this is overturned in your favour although the damage has already been done. Sad day in saasl history.

I think ALL CLUBS should be writing letters to the SAASL supporting loss of points and demotion to the bottom division of both clubs - without being able to get promotion for 3 years or alike.

Absolute disgrace to the league and the game and absolutely not on

That is hardly fair on any club in the lowest divisions. Why should they be subjected to playing against a team who are both cheats and at a superior level to the lower divs? Ban the clubs, ban any player who had a part in it.

Well said Robbo, we have all had enough, I hate seeing anyone robbed like that, this is an absolute disgrace and can not be accepted....I will be speaking to our President today, to put in a formal letter of complaint on behalf of the Adelaide Villa SC in support of Polonia SC.

Some facts!
Yes there was an official ref for the Ghan v Blue Nile.
It 1-0 for Ghan after 1 minute of play.
I stayed there for about 8-10min, Ghan could have scored 6 goals or more, it was all Ghan.
On the other hand Blue Nile looked as though they never player soccer before, some players were very casual almost joking/fun on the field.
Blue Nile did not seem to have reserve players for the A team or even a coach, only 8-10 male supporters sitting on the side and they were certainly not African but Asian ( I talked to a couple of them)
Blue Nile did not seem to be the same team as during the season, I should know as I attended every Sunday Div 4 matches.
Last game Polonia/Ghan game there was urgency to win/score from the Ghan supporters/coach.
Ghan v Blue Nile game - there was nothing, it seemed as though it was a picnic.
The pitch - grass approx. 200mm high, not cut since the Ghan v Polonia game

As for the reserves - I asked the Blue Nile supporters and was told the score was 8-1

I would certainly check with Blue Nile on the actual res scores.

I sympathise with the Polonia players but I do not anything will be done by the SAASL. I have written to them about other incidents during the season and made some suggestion on improving the conduct of the Amateur teams - no response

I'm surprised they actually gave Blue Nile 4 goals.

Time to throw the book at both teams and make it clear that this isnt tolerated.

we had a supporter go down to check the scores and he was told by the linesman from the blue nile team that it was 3-1 to Ghan approx half way through the first half..
he stuck around for 10-15 mins and did not see anyone score...
he was also told that the score in the reserves was 9-1 to Ghan...

it seems like they just added a 1 and a 2 to their scores lol
9-1 (19-1)
8-4 (28-4)

i really hope they just took the piss with everyone and the actual match sheet says something different

One hell of a piss take, but given it deprived you a decent celebration, one that would leave a sour taste.

At least, in theory, you get to play them again next year (Ghan), just make sure you smash them! Given a couple players I know who are keen on joining Polonia next season, I hope that would be a decent possibility.

If the scores are 'legit' then there has been a bit of leapfrogging at the top of Division 4 with Polonia scoring 22 goals and conceding 1 in their last 2 games whilst Ghan might have scored 30 goals (2 via forfeit) and conceded 4.....wait for official results I guess.

Be interesting once the match sheet has been read by SAASL

at the moment the scores are based on a phone call we make after the game...

I reckon Frank Pangallo would be interested in investigating it further if the SAASL aren't.

what a useless organisation this saasl is .....I would love to see the figures these guys get paid for running a farce....we protested during the season with ghan playing unregistered players had photos and proof and case got thrown out....so I ring the saasl and ask them what was behind there decision and the response was that it wasn't clear enough ....so it seems that every team should not pay fees for registration and then see how clear that will be you fkn joke of a organisation.....Yet paynham postel protest against blue nile for the same reason and get points back???nothing against paynham well done ...but just wondering how it works for one and not the other .....

I am in the final stages of drafting the club's response to yesterday's events.

As I can see, many other clubs are in support of us and it is very much appreciated.

We appreciate and support any forms of correspondence to League HQ that may support or further advance our case for an investigation.

I fear, that if this isn't acted upon quickly and resolved accordingly, we're going to further cement that this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

Please, help us make a stand and rid this disgusting behaviour from the sport that we all love so much.

You obviously have no idea about this organisation....apart from the administration girls who staff the office...the management committee are 'volunteers'.

The SAASL can be slack at times and take to long to look into things. From what I heard was that by the time the league looked at your protest, the player/s that you complained about had gotten registered and for some reason they couldn't prove that he was illegal at your game. Don't ask my why that is!

As for the Payhneham Postel protest we went through the right steps we told the ref that they were playing illegal players pointed them out and the ref took notes and filled in his paper work to give to the SAASL and we did out paperwork with the complaint along with very good clear pictures of the players being accused. The photos contained 3 different views of the players in the strips 1 view of the backs showing their number, then a side view of their face and a front view of their face. Those 3 profiles helped us a lot.

Fair point Swanny......but being a person in the know, has bullscchit like this been going on for ever in a day or is it getting worse?????, i'm talking in general, Match fixing as per the obvious, the so called violence and lack of care factor for all and sundry, lack of respect for the league and opposing teams and the game as a whole??? a serious question that needs to be asked????? or has it always been there but just well disguised????

Crazylegs- our appeal sounds exactly like yours, photos, paper work, proof, ref report etc....we did exactly as instructed by the league...
thats why we dont understand how it is that they didnt lose points.
I also think that its in payneham's best interest that ghan gets at least 3 points taken as that would get you guys promoted i believe....
anyway i have just been told we are to re submit our protest for another look

What you need is constitutional change, which implements crtiteria for acceptance into the League.

At this point in time, I dont think the SAASL can reject a club nomination form.

The problem you then face is then is the competition an amateur one? And the counter-argument is if you want to be more professional you can always join the FFSA.

And the other point I will make is are the scores that have been called into the League legitimate?

Polonia should prepare their documentaton but the team sheets may read differently.

if it was a league game there will be an official referee who undoubtedly would put in a report.
