If you want the rules change make a detailed proposal!

If your proposal is: "Play it midweek at HQ." then I'd vote against it.
For example, what if the club has sufficient lighting to play it midweek at their home ground?

Completely agree, plus (as I have stated many times) why should the home team miss out on home advantage?

In this case stirling would not only lose their home advantage but have an hours travel (for a home game) as well. Sounds completely fair.

Yes, home team loses home-ground advantage, but if Stirling & Modbury both lose on the weekend I guarantee the game won't get played at all and not even the poor old ref will see a cent

Very true. Two years in a row for Modbury with both times coming when they were in with a chance of promotion, other results pending.

Both away games beyond our countrol though. Cup rounds were unavailable to us last year as well.

Last year, we couldn't get promoted and comets had already won the league and still played the catch up game.

Cougars undefeated at home all year. All but the Gleeson game were won by a margin of one goal.

Pumas played Stirling already in a catch up game at midweek HQ months ago. But then the return game was cancelled so they might meet again at the same shitty place again!

We lost our home ground advantage earlier this year when we had to play Puma's midweek at Grange. Plus the pitch was barely playable and the lighting was terrible.

Artificial pitches wouldn't be so bad, in Spain, the vast majority of amateur club and community pitches are artificial. Hasn't hurt their player development or quality of football at all.

In germany they're gravel. Football should be played on grass especially in countries like australia where conditions are there for it.
