If Willian signs for Chelsea, does that leave Mata out in the cold? Unreal to even consider that's a possibility....But it certainly seems that way.

Unfortunately I agree, that seems to be the way things are heading. Incredible deal for both clubs really.haywood djablowme wrote:BowTiesAreCool wrote:If Willian signs for Chelsea, does that leave Mata out in the cold? Unreal to even consider that's a possibility....But it certainly seems that way.

And then how cheap will Torres or Lukaku or Ba be as Mata plays Att Mid, but Rooney is coming in as 1st choice striker (stated by Mou)... Carroll dropped $20m in price to West Ham, you'd probably be able to get Torres for $20m ($30m loss). Maybe Torres to Napoli to reunite with Rafa? They've still got the Cavani money

As i said earlier watch Wenger jump at Torres if he became availableThe Kings Jesta wrote:

Any other coach and I'd agree, but Arsene is a new character in the Dora series:haywood djablowme wrote:As i said earlier watch Wenger jump at Torres if he became availableThe Kings Jesta wrote:

Re: Liverpool 2013/14

Re: Liverpool 2013/14
This fucking league cup game could not be going any worse. 120 minutes for Sturridge, Gerrard, Agger, & Johnson 5 days before the United game, and now Toure has gone down injured. Worst possible fucking scenario here.

The Konchesky signing was almost as bad as Ralph Milne.
And Not much wrong with Henderson or Allen.

Re: Liverpool 2013/14
don't fucking start on the name of the comp FFS. you know it's only an argument for newbies to the game and those who support multiple teams.
If you use that argument we are ahead of you on Championship wins by a considerable amount.

so you mancs don't have a thread and instead talk about liverpool in the liverpool thread, because... WE have the inferiority complex? what?
you spent more time and energy praying LFC wont rise again more then you care about what the mancs do. and i wouldn't blame you, the mancs are boring like the yankees, who wants to follow a corrupt franchise buying their success? what's the point of watching the film if you know what happens? ;)

All those boys have started games and played quite well on occasion... however...Old Redback wrote:El Capitano wrote:Remember when Liverpool signed Paul Konchesky?

Bebe... enough said...
Plus your legendary manager passed up Paul Pogba to Juve... haven't met a ManUre supporter yet who wishes this hadn't happened.
Tevez to Man City would surely have stung the ego a little too
We bought Torres for 26mil and sold him couple years later for double. You ask any stock player, if you invested 26mil and got 50mil in 3 year return that is an absolute winner of an investment, and we'll probably do the same with Suarez.
NB Henderson is starting to show he can play a bit, would be a better option than Anderson at this point... as would Joe Allen.
Re: Liverpool 2013/14
Don't even compare Henderson and Anderson. Hendo shits on him from a great height. The Kings Jesta wrote:All those boys have started games and played quite well on occasion... however...Old Redback wrote:El Capitano wrote:Remember when Liverpool signed Paul Konchesky?

I know, but to even mention them together is insulting to Hendo

They hired him for his consistency. You can't argue with those stats. He's consistently won fuck all at anfield for the last 13 seasons and he's played his part once again.

Re: Liverpool 2013/14
All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road
The glory round the Fields of Anfield Road!
It was awesome at the MCG and just as special with the tribute to Shanks last night. Loved the KOP's tribute to the man who is essentially the founder of what we are now.
I'm sure if Sakho, Moses and Ilori were wondering if they were making the right move, it was answered with a real passion and verve last night as they watched in the stands.
Good to see Kolo in there with them, especially Sakho as he might not speak English so Kolo will probably take him under his wing.
Great 1st half with and without the ball, 2nd half less so with the ball but did enough to get the points. RVP and Carrick both very lucky to have played the 90. Aspas not up to that pace of game yet but Suarez will take his place anyway, and Raheem still lacks strength and 1st touch, which is where Moses will come in either off the bench or starting, which will bring Hendo back in to the mix for the CM possies (which is where he is more effective but will he displace Lucas?)
So long as Johno is no more than a day or 2 we'll be happy all week.
