Re: God is an Englishman in the wars again!!!!
Cougars do have that reputation.
Anyway I thought GIAE was out injured from a week or two ago.

Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.

Yeah....he came down to findon to Watch Cougars v Villa...wanting to buy a drink at the bar, the bar lady recognised him and hit him with her hand bag. But he ended staying to watch the game....said he enjoyed getting hit by a woman....

Given Jets don't play Cougars until THIS weekend, I think you've heard wrong.cowabunga wrote:i heard that it got abit physical against Cougars on the weekend and he copped a few punches. Can anyone confirm?

We were at Grange on Saturday as well and didn't see him there as Monarchs cancelled the B and C's as the pitch was under water.
It would surprise me if true.....

Although it wouldn't be the first time Stevie is surprised by the truth.
He's been fairly tame and quiet by GIAE standards this week, so we'll have to wait for 'his side of the story'. The last incident wasn't raised by himself either. Played Monarchs without the slightest of incidents last week, and hardly a mouthy, trouble making type team.
C'mon GIAE, your fans await an official statement!

You really have a crush don't you....It's like giving a stray dog a pat because you feel sorry for the mangy dirty thing and he follows you home....Run along I already have a dogAzzurri80 wrote:His publicist has spoken. See, more lies. No one ever pats stray dogs, and you're more likely to get bitten if you do, rather then it follow you home.Steve#4 wrote:You really have a crush don't you....It's like giving a stray dog a pat because you feel sorry for the mangy dirty thing and he follows you home....Run along I already have a dogAzzurri80 wrote:His publicist has spoken. Still no comment from GIAE? Very strange, and unlike him. He must be consulting with his lawyers in the morning.

Sorry fans but only just seen this thread.
I wasn't at the game at the weekend at all. I am out injured and my daughters netball grand final was at the same time.
Sorry to disappoint you all but I wasn't even there.

It just shows the rumour circuit and how it works though. I was close to the city at the time, even I couldn't start a fight from that distance.
