SMFC lucky to not get a player sent off after 10min... blatant foul when BH player was clean through on goal..ken18 wrote:SMFC (3) V BH UNITED (0)
SMFC unlucky not to win 6 or 7 nil.
Other results?
last man is a straight red isnt it, the refs in this league are cooked
Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
Results are all over the place in other threads mate.
We still would have won a man down anyway...

Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
Ref was bad but he was even both ways
Bosna player should have been sent off as well for throwing a knee straight into the back of a SMFC player on purpose, noone cried about it, and he got straight back up instead of rolling around on the floor like BH seemed to do all day.

Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
yea probably should have but that was in the last ten minutes so wouldnt have any bearing on the result, whereas the San Marco player should have seen red in the first ten... bit of a difference there..ken18 wrote:Ref was bad but he was even both ways

other than that it was a pretty even first half with chances at both ends, then second half San Marco took over..
Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
got to admit the ref was dreadful in the South Coast V Plympton game also. completely lost control and ended up with the 2 sides coming to blows with a couple of minutes to go. I know half the Plympton boys and never have problems with them as Im sure most others don't but when a referee lets stupid shit go because (in his words) "doesn't want to send anyone off" this is what happens.
at this level people need to be pulled up quick and booked early for rash/dirty challenges to stop this happening.
having said that, the decisions had no bearing on the result as South Coast didn't even turn up and Plympton dominated and deserved the 3-1 win. we could have played for a week and not scored 3 more goals. it was just one of those horrible days where no matter what you did or how hard you tried nothing went right.

Cmon BigDawg ... its probably a great result for the division ......Plympton get the points to push them to 8th ... Increase the chances of Adelaide Youngstars to get relegated .bigdawg wrote:got to admit the ref was dreadful in the South Coast V Plympton game also. completely lost control and ended up with the 2 sides coming to blows with a couple of minutes to go. If I thought getting relegated was bad enough ..another year of AYS ....

seems like a fair trade - both as life threatening as the other

Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
So as anyone actually got any results from last 2 weeks??
The race for relegation & promotion is unknown at the minute??
They haven't updated the table in 2 weeks!

Ken - get used to it - it's called the ameateur league for a reason!!ken18 wrote:So as anyone actually got any results from last 2 weeks??

Theyve not even posted the quarter finals results from 10/11 days ago, how hard is it to enter 4 results?
Anyway as far as Div 3 is concerned Maso are best placed for promo they would only miss out IF they lost both their last 2 games.
San marco look most likely to join them if they can get 4 pts from last 2 games.
Angle Vale still have a chance but need all results to go their way.
As for relegation Noarlunga already down and other spot will most likely be decided on last game AYS v Plympton.
However despite their recent good run South Coast are still a mathematical chance of going down if they lose their last 2 games heaviily & if bulldogs and AYS win theirs.

I heard on the grapevine they are playing it next Friday night 6th Sept under lights - I am guessing it is probably earliest they could get the ground given all the other junior / senior sports they have going on there.

Re: Sunday Div 3 Results
We have to consider our juniors for a friday night game.
So firstly BH United have NO mail and the club contact has not returned the last 10 calls made to him.
Secondly our junior soccer president was away for a week and on monday confirmed that friday 30th wasnt possible to move the juniors.
Finally contact was made tuesday and what was thought was a agreed postponed match was a misunderstood conversation.
Not one BH United rang back to say they had accepted the original friday night proposal or even chased kick off times.
WE ARE NOT POSTPONING FOR POINTS our boys are keen as mustard to play and play a twilight night game under our new lights!
All that being said and done we are looking forward to a hard fought fair game under lights and beers after!
