$7.5-million pledge to upgrade C'town Leisure Centre

The Coalition has pledged $7.5-million in funding to upgrade the Campbelltown Leisure Centre if elected.

The commitment was made by Tony Abbott and Christopher Pyne on a recent visit to the Centre at Botanic Grove Campbelltown.

"The Centre is valuable to the community, offering netball, volleyball , soccer, indoor bowls, dance and many other activities" said Pyne.

Federal funding applications had previously been rejected in 2010, 2011 & twice in 2012.

I would imagine we'll be hearing something from Labor soon, matching or increasing that figure...
