FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
Fulham are proud to announce they have been successful in receiving a $400,000 grant ($200K each from Office of Rec and Council) for an extension to the existing changerooms.
This will see a new complete set of changerooms (home and away) with separate trainers room, office and store room to compliment the existing changerooms - this will be solely for the soccer club and nothing to do with the cricketers.
This will be built during the 2014 season to avoid clashing with the cricketers so hopefully completed before seasons end.
Great news for Fulham as with juniors and girls this will enable everyone to have changerooms for there games.

How many forums do you need to post this in? Surely one would suffice.
No country who has never qualified for the world cup should be allowed to host it at the expense of one who has.

Covers Amateurs, Women and juniors so 1 in each.Getting Rusty wrote:How many forums do you need to post this in? Surely one would suffice.
Juniors dont read amateur forums and nor do women read junior forums etc.
We might be the club no-one rates because we dont have a "senior" FFSA mens team because a lot of people think it is the be all and end all but with all the rumours I am hearing about clubs struggling to pay players because of the extra games and a lot of clubs not being financial with the FFSA we are running along very smoothly and this is the icing on the cake.

Serious question and not an attack- as you don't have men's first team reserves etc.
What is the pathway for those kids now and in the future that get to that age where they are ready to move onto men's FFSA?

Div 1 or Div 2 amateurs - if your gd enough 1st team squad or ressies or C team - plenty of choice.coutinho10 wrote:Serious question and not an attack- as you don't have men's first team reserves etc.

If they are gd enough and want to play Prem or State then we wish them all the best in trying out at another club - if they don't make it or don't have the time to commit to the multiple training nights they are always welcome back to Fulham.
That's the Fulham difference - what do the FFSA clubs do to the under 16 JSL kids or the majority of the 17s when they can't go any further or are cut - they cut them loose.
At Fulham they can stay on and find a level where they can fit in and will never be cut loose if they want to play after 17s at Fulham.

Should now be able to pay full FFSA fees instead of leaching off the NPL and NSL clubs

Any money towards football is great but the Fulham group has upset their Western area counterparts with their junior and coach "recruitment".
About time you got away from the kickers and got your teenagers into the FFSA State League, you can still have the old boys in the amateurs. Your women and kids are with the program, close the circle.

You may have explained this previously, but just curious why, if you have three Men's teams already, you just don't move over the entire club to the FFSA?

Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
What good would that do them? They would have to charge higher fees, and the juniors would go to better clubs near them. Their junior set up is only good due to not having high FFSA costs. They have an unfair advantage over surrounding clubs. If you want to have FFSA junior teams surely you have to have seniors?
Why can you have juniors only but you can't have seniors only to play to be in NPL? Munno Para and Fulham should be like the 30 real Fed CLubs. They are only half in.

Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
Sounds like a bit of jealousy creeping in from other clubs
The FFSA love us as we have the whole box and dice rolled into 1 - junior boys and girls plus senior women in the top women's league and the only thing missing is men in the FFSA.
We are happy having the senior men in the amateurs as we don't want to spend $100,000 a year to join a comp that quite honestly is not worth the money - would rather put that money back into the club.
Its a matter of opinion if joining the men's FFSA would mean the senior men are in a "better" comp - Div 1 amateurs have some very gd quality that our juniors can come into and play in a tough league that many ex FFSA players have played in and found out its a lot tougher than what they might think.

Don't know - maybe you should ask him?Željko Jurin wrote:Is Christiano staying ?
His team did not win his league unlike our other long serving coach in same age group who did win his league and had a much better cup run and also played some gd football.
Fulham would of course like him to stay but it will be on Fulham terms and not Christiano's terms.

I agree with this....Hard not to really....bigpond wrote:Sounds like a bit of jealousy creeping in from other clubs![]()

Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
I personally agree with how Fulham do it .... its about 'survival' to be able to continue on in the future, and what best works for the individual club itself and what its members want and are happy with
No point doing something that the members/supporters dont want, and a club cant afford long term ...... I'm sure there will be other clubs in the future going along this path

Fulham to join CSL league for the Men would be a good fit for the club. All under the FFSA Umbrella.

Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
We wont argue about it. It was just a point if Fulham wanted everything under 1 umbrella. You have your opinion of the CSL and that is fine. JUst like playing state league. No point talking about it more as like you said its a junior forum.
Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
Are Fulham a big enough club to join the state league? No one wants another Gawler.
Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
Don't worry we are not joining anytime soon.aufc_123 wrote:Are Fulham a big enough club to join the state league? No one wants another Gawler.
We are in a much better socio-economic area than some of these clubs struggling like Gawler and Toros so we have a lot going for us.
Re: FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT
Translates to "parents are wealthier so we can and do charge juniors much more" than Toros etcbigpond wrote:Don't worry we are not joining anytime soon.aufc_123 wrote:Are Fulham a big enough club to join the state league? No one wants another Gawler.
