FULHAM RECEIVE $400,000 GRANT

Post by bigpond »

Fulham are proud to announce they have been successful in receiving a $400,000 grant ($200K each from Office of Rec and Council) for an extension to the existing changerooms.

This will see a new complete set of changerooms (home and away) with separate trainers room, office and store room to compliment the existing changerooms - this will be solely for the soccer club and nothing to do with the cricketers.

This will be built during the 2014 season to avoid clashing with the cricketers so hopefully completed before seasons end.

Great news for Fulham as with juniors and girls this will enable everyone to have changerooms for there games.

Fantastic to hear mate.......adds to the great set up you have down there, Great to see our game getting grants off their own back rather than having to share with any other sport. Well done to all at Fulham.

All in preparation for the push to the state league to fill the vacant spot that will be left by the Enfield Pirates merger.

Does that mean you may be able to spare some cash to water your pitch for any preseason friendlies?

You should get Compare Beppe to go owner builder, and pocket the other $390,000. :D

Receiving the grant in clean, non-sequential, hundred dollar bills?

Great stuff hey Ricky - Div 1 or Div 2 Fulham will be around for another 43 years - great community club and people are starting to take notice.

Goverments and councils don't hand out 400k to anyone do they Ricky?

Div 1, Div 2 or if the club does indeed go to the Feds in the future, the facilities down at FUSC will be top notch.

I hear there is even to be an upgrade of Lake Collins. This might mean bigpond may have to change his name to hugepond, megapond or evenbiggerpond??

Great work Fulham and really good to hear. Such a great area there it can become a hub for the Western suburbs. Well done to all concerned
