C2s
West Beach 1 - 0 FOB
Own goal from what I was told
C Grade
West Beach 2 - 0 Pontians (Forfeit)
B Grade
West Beach 9 - 2 Pontians
Pontians struggled from the get-go with a send off after about 15 minutes and a second in the 2nd half. Actually took the lead at 2-1 after the start of the 2nd but fell away as Beach piled on the goals.
A Grade
West Beach 3 - 3 Pontians
Even battle between two sides trying to avoid relegation. Beach struck first but Pontians fought back to make it 2-2, then equalised again after beach went up 3-2. Could have put it way too if not for some wasted opportunities near the end

Where do I start...... ?
B grade
Angle Vale 3-0 Young stars.
Result at half time, YS refused to come on.
A Grade
Angle Vale 2-0 Young Stars
Young stars player got a second yellow for a tackle from behind. He then pushed the ref and tried to chase him as hi team mates held him back. Ref retreated and sat in the crowd as they calmed down. This player was literally losing it terribly.
Bunch of 's as usual. How long are they going to get away with this BS!!!!
Should note the ref did an exceptional job controlling the game.

Re: Sunday results: 11/08
I said previously that this will be a circus.
B grade Angle Vale v Youngstars 3 - 0 when halftime Youngstars refuse to play the second half because they didn't like the decision on the 3rd goal, play abandoned.
A grade Angle Vale v Youngstars 2 - 0 The first goal a penalty and the offending player then pushes the ref and chases him to the boundary with his teammates holding him back. It then takes over 5 minutes to take the penalty because order needed to be restored. Their a joke boot them out and I hope the ref files a report.

A team
Gdns 2 - Fulham 1
Another gutsy effort by Fulham from what I hear but not enough.
B grade
Gdns 3-0
C grade
Fulham won 4-1
Catch up C game between Fulham and Beach to be played Sun at Fulham 11.30 kick off
Looks like a draw to Beach will give them the title but they will be hard to beat from the position they r in.

Seaford v unley
Seaford b's won 5-1. Great performance from seaford and well deserved win. Pity unley had to play the first half with 10 men cause they didnt have the number but was only 2-1 at half time. Good group of boys to play against too!
Seaford A's won 2-0. Solid performance and also well deserved win!

Thanks for the hospitality Peckers....hard game...thought Knights might scrape a win holding on to a 0-1 lead for quite a while. Grove came home with a wet sail...took an excellent free kick and penalty to get past Stephen "Maggy" Maguire who earlier reeled in a series of one-on-one saves. Grove seemed fitter and played some good football on the day.pecker wrote:Peckers vs Southern Knights

If the league continues to allow this to happen and just let them walk away, I'm thinking its time for opposing clubs have to start standing up to them and clean a few of these c-u,nts up.Hatchet Squad wrote:The sooner the league kicks these bottle of shiraz champagne out, the better. Athelstone lost 6-0 to Ghan United (aka the Sunday team that wears the Hazara strip) in A's and lost 5-0 in the B's.
A grade game featured another "finger up the bum" incident against an Athelstone player (who ended up the one with the booking after giving the Ghan player a shove). The usual carry-on of yelling and going down at any contact, same old, same old with 'these' teams.
Credit to the ref - he did at least try to take the niggle out of the game - can't expect him to do much about the incident if he didn't see it. Up to SAASL now to consider.

Thought is was a bit piss weak that not one Unley player came in for a drink after the game. Poor form

Payneham Postel Utd played a Blue Nile team with 7 federation players in their "A" team (no Federation games this weekend other than the cup final). They really showed our 4th Div players the difference between federation standard & 4th div amateurs. How proud they must be. (7-3 result)
Well we checked their cards & reported it to the referee who will pass it on to the SAASL, hopefully for a result reversal, or all the work we have put in this season has been wasted by cheats. We accept defeat when we are beaten by players who should be playing in our league but if they get away with this, what is the point of having rules.
