Beograd forfeit this weekend?

Just heard that further to Beograd's reserves folding earlier in the season, the first team has forfeited Sunday's Div 2 match against Munno Para. Can anyone confirm? Pity if it is true - I was impressed when I saw them earlier in the season.

Agree mate, a nightmare of a league. I would think TTG would have almost counted themselves safe after last week's results as well. But again this is only speculation and gives me something to do on a very slow Friday. At least I have something to put in this Pensky file

as far as im aware, it would be beograd and one other relegated, unless beograd completely fold. if they fold then it would be 2 down from 9

Spoke to a couple of people and can confirm that Beograd has or will forfeit the As game on Sunday.. Annual serb festival in Sydney has caused more player unavailability. Dont believe its a forefiet for the remainder of the season just this week

I'm not sure but if any club forfeits too often wouldnt the league technically suspend them?

Anyway looks like Beograd may see season out - will be tough for them to avoid relegation but if they win a couple & finish 8th then fold - that would need 3 teams to come up
