Are you serious? Grove lucky to get the points today. A couple of late injuries cost us. Para were all over you guys prior to that. I think you only had 1 decent shot on goals all game.epic1 wrote:Peckers for Promotion? "Challenge Accepted" - Brett Cutting

lucky to get the points, are you for real, we were all over you. Your goal was a blatant hand ball. We were attacking your defence all game, all your defence wanted to do was hoof it long. You all screamed and carried on every time a tackle was laid. Maybe that's why you came off injured after one of the softest tackles,

safe hands, when I see the final score of EG 2 MP 1 I think the grove must of played well to win. Doesn't matter how many shots either team had, da grove just took their chances I guess..

This doesn't make you sound like a sore loser at all.safehands wrote:Are you serious? Grove lucky to get the points today. A couple of late injuries cost us. Re: Instant Impact - Brett Cutting
Softest tackles, I think anyone who has ever played with me would know that I don't go down for soft tackles, and I never moan about taking hits it's part of the game. Even though I had collected the ball and taken a step before I was hit, which I would classify as late, I never made an attempt to call for a foul. I even told the ref that there was no malice in the challenge your player made. If you remember I also tried to run it off and played on for another 10 mins or so. Today I found out that the 'soft tackle' e actually actually broke my leg and has put me out of the game for at least 6 weeks. Just goes to show that the hit was from the side and not front on, late challenge remember.pecker wrote:lucky to get the points, are you for real, we were all over you. As far as attacking our defence, I an not disputing that, but you were not getting past them. Hoof it long? I would love to have a statistician at the these games as we were putting some good passages of play together from the back most of the game.
I am not taking anything away from you guys. You got the win, and I am sure you will win a few more , but no way are you guys title contenders. I still think you were lucky to win and I don't think at any time you guys out played us for periods.

Sore loser... yep I am, I hate losing. I hate it even more when I feel that the team that beat us didn't deserve it. That's soccer I guessBowTiesAreCool wrote:This doesn't make you sound like a sore loser at all.safehands wrote:Are you serious? Grove lucky to get the points today. A couple of late injuries cost us. Saw this guy playing C's against the Farm today. Kept muttering I'm too good for this game and that's why Grove pay me big money.
Didn't do much at all, got the ball a lot but coughed it up a fair bit too.

What about The Unknown Player?
A signature has the effect of "signing off" the message indicating that no more response follows. It is common practice for a signature to contain some brief information on the author of the message, but not in this case.
Re: Instant Impact - Brett Cutting
Must say Brett Cutting made an impact yesterday....not sure how he escaped the yellow cards so often with some of his challenges and watching from 2 metres away, the way he gleaned a late penalty wide of the goals had me reminiscing the way Fabio Grosso earned his penalty against Australia Lucas Neill in 2006. His guile has to be commended, it did the trick yesterday
