As a league we need to be careful not to pigeon hole an entire ethnic group based on the unreasonable behaviour of a few. Every club has it's 's including yours.
Amen - someone who hasn't dusted off the white pillowcase for his head and put a rope on every tree!
so what would you suggest happen to the guy that punched our player in the face from behind completely uprovoked???? am i a kkk grand wizard because i think he is a total fking scum bag??
not at all....the player who got hit has every right to feel grievance towards the individual. However in all of these topics related to the same sort of thing comments have been made against entire clubs communities and races or eluding to....not many of the posters have really made any worthwhile suggestions other than going on a witch hunt very much reminiscent of KKK behaviour.....[/quote]
Drama Queen much????? The clubs are at fault as there have been repeated reports and the stand by and do nothing about it.
Mud sticks, if these "Clubs" took a stand and said we don't accept this type of behavior then you would have a point.

Possibly so but blaming government grants and ethnicity is not the solution.....you can all rant and rave about it but very few of you or your clubs will show your cohunes and do something about it!

Ethnicity yes but the grants can be the only reason SAASL sticks their head in the sand over the matter.
I have already stated that all the clubs that play in the Division they are in, need to do address this as a collective, BSing on here will do absolutely nothing.

...???? Arms like an elephants trunk ...??!!
its not that hard to figure out is it?? after getting a red card the bloke ran up to our player from behind and hooked him right in the face.... ref was 2 meters away and abandoned the game...

i also dont see why it should be left up to the clubs to have to concieve a 'punishment' and dish it out on another club, thats what we have administrators and rules for ....
im sure you see the frustration ....

That is not the point being made...All clubs should pressure the "Administration" into doing something about it. Write a letter, get the other clubs presidents to sign it and send it off to SAASL.
Will have more effect than pissing and moaning on footballnews about it.

well seaford took a stand and said playing them wasnt worth the hassle. we know it shouldent be like this but until the powers that are supposed to be say enough is enough nothing will change. do we go to blue nile this weekend or not not my call but i guess we will. look, unless we are all aborigines WE ARE ALL ETHNICS HERE it just seems that some mobs are allowed to push the envelope more than others it would seem. look,i came here on a bloody boat too,not a do gooder in sight. nobody gave me anything and i had a job within three days of landing here. im proud of that.

FN wouldnt exist if it wasnt for pissing and moaning
why do i need all clubs to sign anything? a referees eye witness account and report should be more then enough to make the league take some sort of action...
id almost put my house on it that the guy ive mentioned plays this sunday....

Should be but obviously isn't.....If you are not willing to be a part of the solution then you are part of the problem.

how the fk is anyone part of the problem if their player gets punched in the head unprovoked????
just like it's your fault your bags gets stolen because you left it in the changeroom... give me a fking break... im not hhaving a go at you personally, i dont know you, and you are entitled to your opinion but some people really need to get their heads out of their ass and stop playing blame reversies, the guy punches someone in the head, the league should deal with it accordingly !!! fking end of story !!! there should be no ifs and no buts and no 'lets get together and sign some bullshit letters and maybe that way we can get an outcome'... i realise its not a perfect world and if that is what has to happen as a last resort i'll put pen to paper, but we all pay fees and can have at least some demand that the league ensures people who dont belong in the game are thrown out...

Totally agree. The SAASL have a duty of care to their members. I know it's a rarity but getting King Hit from behind could kill someone. It should be treated as a criminal offence.
I'll keep an eye out for a lanky African with a beard who wears number 8.
“Well done lad, but remember, you’re still only half as good as I was” – Dixie Dean to Bob Latchford after his 30th league goal in ’78

Once again.......The league is not doing anything about it are they so, if it was me I would be taking affirmative action instead of bitching about it on a forum. Instead of sitting here whining that the league won't do anything about it, pull your own head out of your arse and do something about it....If you don't want to then just get on with the season.
And yes, anyone that leaves there bags in an away changeroom (especially at the Pitch you were at because of the traffic it attracts) is putting themselves in the position to have something pinched....Use common sense will you...

Just like Savoy looked out for the suspended AYS "pole weilding in the last game against Plympton" B grade ref/1st team player in their last game

you can call it bitching and moaning, i think its important to raise the fact that nothing gets done like you said..
if it was you? but its not.....this is why we have different views i think
i think you might sing a different song if you or your club happen to be on the wrong end of one of these incidents... i hope it doesnt hapen obviously
another thing...lets say all clubs in a div petition the league and refuse to play a club, who is to say the league wont just give that club all the points, guaranteeing them promotion into the next div the followng year? then you need another petiotion which may or may not happen ??
what sort or serious consequence can we expect???

At the end of the day we seem like 2 very different people...If the league continued to ignore the issue I would take it upon myself to make them do something about it. I think what certain people from these few clubs are doing is completely unacceptable. I think the clubs that register these grubs and stand by and let it keep happening is unacceptable. I think the SAASL not addressing the issues is unacceptable. If I was in your position I would just push a little harder when talking with our governing body.....Agree to disagree...
