Anyone that leaves their bag in an away changeroom deserves what they get.....Unfortunately this is the way of the world...Blaming the club is pretty piss poor, take some responsibility for your own actions.

yea theres always a few standing around there who knows maybe they're focused on the match at hand.. and theres a set of toilets in there so people go in and claim they go to use the toilet.. the change rooms should be locked once the players run out and then unlocked at half time and locked once again when play resumes... like i said i never leave my bag in there, even though a lot of our players still do..bloodypassit wrote: While this year has been tough , there is still light at the end of the tunnel
And if you have a look at all my posts this year I have never blamed a ref , in fact commented how well they have done
My question is you have about 10 supporters that hang around the entry of the change rooms
Wouldn't they recognise who isn't associated with the club

It was the toughest half time speech to give ... But the two lads affected played extremely well in the second half
As I said before ... It was a good game and played fairly

Downs comfortably won the game 4-0, but if it wasn't for the Westies keeper, the score line could have been a lot worse. He was my pick for best on ground for both sides, not only for his goal saving ability, but also for the fact that he took his own goal kicks, something the Downs keeper can not do. The last time I saw an on field player take a goal kick was under 10's!!
i would probably say benny could lose 15-20 but i dont think it will matter as ive heard a rumor his hanging up the boots at the end of the year anyway.

you claim the downs supporters made you feel smart? i'd hate to see how moronic they were then, based on the pure idiocy of your posts.

Why would Benny Aldrige hang up his boots when he has conceded the least amount of goals and at the moment the downs are in pole position

Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 7-7-2013
And might I add he's had a ridiculous amount of clean sheets this year at the moment he would be considered the best goalie in the league if not who is? And why would you change anything about him he's performing that well

Re: SUNDAY RESULTS 7-7-2013
Exceptions have been made in the past, I remember Manchester United Supporters Club folded a week or 2 after the transfer cut off date, the SAASL gave their players 1 week to find a new club.swannsong wrote:June 30 unfortunately ! Adelaide Young Stars vs Savoy -
The Reserves match saw an abysmal display of refereeing. I have every respect for the persons who referee the matches , but honestly this would go down as the worst display I have seen. A player dived to hand-ball the ball on the goal line to prevent a goal was awarded a penalty and a yellow card? The last man running onto an open goal was dragged down from behind a yellow card? Numerous off-side calls that the so called referee waved on infuriating the onlooking supporters, we are not talking level here, at least 1 - 2 metres off. I have grave doubts that the "referee" was in fact a registered referee, as the "Ref" went on to play in the senior side. With a proper referee AYS would have had 9 players on the field from around the 30th minute, making it almost impossible to win. As a result the free kick tally would have read AYS 52 Savoy 6, this is not an exaggeration. We have pictures of the "referee/player".
For other clubs:
Showers - just, cold water only showers on a 12 degree day
Toilets - none for the visiting supporters
Seating - no seating anywhere near the ground, nor any covered area during rain
Hospitality - nothing, no canteen facilities, no water, nothing post match.
Now the Seniors -
Overall it was a good match, with both sides battling, and it was officiated well albeit for one incident, where the linesman flagged for offside and it was waved on by the ref, you know what happened next, AYS 1 - 0 with 10 minutes to play. The referee chose to override the most crucial decision of the day, and it resulted in Savoy losing a match they should have at least got a point from, from a neutral perspective. The one error paled in comparison to the Reserves match which was simply embarrassing if you know the most basic rules in soccer. I wonder if the league knows who the official was?
