Modbury Vista C grade games

Post by jackdogs »

Hey all affected parties

A reminder of the start time of C team games at Modbury Vista is 1215.

This is due to E&D colts games still being played, an email had been sent to league and all clubs concerned but this forum seems to gain more attention.

C Grade games are held at 11:00am and that's the way it should be. If your unable to play your home games at 11:00am then I think it's only right that you change venues by either playing at your opponents ground or a mutual venue or you simply forfeit, why should opposition players put them selves out because games can't be held on time?

An email has been sent to the league but I don't believe that it's been approved as yet as we have not been informed of any changes to KO times when we play them.
Some guys build their weekends around the 11:00am kick off like most guys on my team so the late kick off will be inconvenient and we will likely not have enough C grade players available, why should we forfit when the game can't be played at the correct time? alternatively we stack our team with A grade players and this is an unfair advantage to MV.

Your three teams play home on the same day, will this impact the A & B kick off times?

I still can't understand how all your c grade games kick off at 11am. Most of our c grade players are just turning up to the ground at that time. Gives them just enough time to get strapped changed and ready for a 11.30 kickoff

Our c2- div 7 team have to kick off early. For a number of reasons. Junior, 35s, womens games, pitch avaliability, chanhe room congestion, security, and also the avalibility of club people to do required jobs.
What does it matter. At least modbury have let people know. If you can get a team together- tuff.

Good job modbury for still making soccer avaliable to people who wish to play at your club and doing so within the constraints you have.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

Don't belong to any of the teams in question, but for those players PUTTING THEM SELVES OUT, club should invest in FIFA 2013. They will get a much better viewing experience, beer will be closer, weather is always great! FFS people. You are either committed or your not! And asking your players to change their start time for ONE week out 18 or 20. WOW! Thats really putting themselves out!

Toughen up! Buy FIFA2013!
