Game is subject to 9am pitch inspection. Ref is aware, but there are no contact details for Munno Para on SAASL website.
Can one of the Munno Para lads send the coaches number to mtcompasssc@gmail.com

Thanks,
Gordon
I have notified the relevant folder holders, but isn't it supposed to be a 1:10pm kickoff as per notfication given from the league?
Thanks.

One of your lads emailed us the coaches number.

League made an arse of our fixtures. All home games are 3pm. Our coach did notify everyone, but must have overlooked you guys as there were no contact details.
He also told the league and refs assn. I'll have him call your coach.

Yeah, would want to call him ASAP. We have a bus organised and I know a lot of blokes organise work around the games.

I don't want to be funny, but it's a pretty big thing to overlook. I realise it probably has nothing to do with you specifically but if there were issues with contact numbers it could have been posted here anytime or one could have been sourced via the league.

Not really the thing you want to be dealing with the night before the game.

Munno Para 4 St. Peters 2

Disappointing the St. Peters boys didn't come in for a beer. The club put on a massive spread of spaghetti bolognase, garlic bread, chips etc. too.

SAASL got the ACU result wrong on the website, we lost 3-1 (I think - i was working) but league had it as a 7-3 win for us. It has been taken down I see.

Munno Para to be rearranged. Looking at fixtures the next free weekend is 13/14 of July. I'll have our coach get onto it, but I know he agreed the next free weekend in principle when the game was postponed (75mm of rain in 2 days).

Looks like we'll be up against it this weekend!

Definately inspired, he had a blinder! You could also say he was fetching in that 'mexican-style' GK top he was sporting!

Cove are well organised and deserved there win against us Saturday but they defintely have an advantage playing on there pitch which is extremely small and tight.

League far from over with Fulham, Munno Para and Mt Lofty still well in it and with Cove having to travel to Mt Compass, Munno Para, St Peters, Fulham and Falcons in the 2nd half of the draw anything can happen.

Other teams will also have an input - Im sure you guys wont roll over for any teams.

SAT DIV 5 P W D L GF GA GD Pts

FLINDERS UNI 8 1 0 7 16 39 -23 3
ONE TREE HILL 8 0 2 6 6 40 -34 2

Still plenty of the season to go. Been playing too long to think the remainder of the season won't have it's share of drama, unexpected results, strange refereeing decisions & blinding performances(!). Who knows what it'll look like come Sept/Oct. Truely a beautiful game.

Thanks to the Mt Compass team for a good competitive match.
Despite an amount of scrappy stuff there were a couple of top-notch goals scored (one for each).
Didn't see the speed camera on the way back......all a blur at light speed :-) ..... not.

From the sounds of things there wasn't really a legitimate reason, but in the end it was blamed on the rain. I was literally just about to pull away in my car when I had a message come through.

Talking to one of the boys it sounds like Mount Lofty couldn't get the numbers together, so they called the club and left a message in the morning.

The ridiculous part is that due to a forfeit from One Tree Hill, all the byes and another postponed game against Mt. Compass, we have played something like three games in 8 or 9 weeks.

Gutted I had to work and missed it. I heard our lads did ok considering only 11 were available this weekend. One of the young lads played his first full amateur game too and it was the GK's 1st full match in over a year.

Hope the speed camera didn't catch anyone!

This would have to be the worst division in the amatuer league for bye's,forfeits & apparent rain outs, amatuer league should let all clubs involved know that soccer is a winter sport & we may actually have to play in the rain.As for re schedule of games if we done that every time it rained season wouldnt finish until December,Dont know if rain was the actual reason sounded more like lofty couldnt get a team together,if any team wishes to contact lofty do not go by SAASL websit or MLESC site,it took nearly 3hrs to contact someone who could help out, just because their pitch was "rained out" it dosen't mean MPCFC was could have easily changed fixtures around, apparently this was to hard to think of so they just cancel.
