Far from it, I do coach and like I said we live and learn..... A large group of Gardens supporters next to me at the game pointed it out, the ball went out twice with no change. Poor bloke was out on his legs and couldn't track the goal scorer back, as soon as the goal went in they made the change.
Who do you coach?
And does a "large group of supporters" views over rule the coach?
There are about 8000 around me at hindmarsh each week who can see things the various coaches we've had down the years apparently can't see.......doesn't make them better does it?

Did anyone ask the coach why he didn't make a change?
Maybe he had a legitimate reason that the mere mortals were not aware of.
Ever thought of that before you question his decisions?

Before you ask, no I don't coach and nor do I want to
I was standing at the halfway line and yes the player needed to come
off the coach said yes just give it a minute I will make a change but
it was too late gardens scored would it have made a difference ? Probably not

that's for him to know and no one to question.
Contradiction much?

And I'm like many other people who don't want to coach because the forum and world is full of bell ends like you who think they know it all.

Who do you coach so I can come out and critique you?

As Knight said, smugness is something you endear yourself with
How is that a contradiction, the change needed to be made. If the coach decides not to make it there is nothing anyone else can do, it's his decision (I never questioned WHY he didn't make it, just pointed out that he should have) maybe he didn't want to, maybe he couldn't, maybe he didn't realise........

Sorry if my comment came across as smug I was just voicing an opinion, not only mine (this is a forum) your more than welcome to come out to either my u/18 or u/12 side and make yourself known. I'm happy to take any criticism just like I am happy to take any compliments (one comes with the other).

I heard PHE were saved by a keeper who was used as an outfield player after being told earlier in the week he could spend some time keeping in the C's.... and was going to be brought on as an outfield player in the A's had the game against MP gone to extra time

so the next question must surely be, why can't they make the draw for the next round tonight?

Why do teams have to wait 2/3 weeks to find out, meaning plans cannot be made for the next game.

You can add Uni Prems B's to that list too. Believe we won 2-0 away at Macedonia.

I tend to agree, the earlier the draw the better for clubs

Haha... love the description of the 3rd goal scorer... "the bearded guy" was Daniel Nichols. Other goal scorers were Nathan Crook (with the first) and im pretty sure Michael Burbridge got the second.
