good to see no bad reports so far this round of bad behaviour for a change. ....

I did see a young kid 13-14 yrs old running a line yesterday and did a fantastic job and getting all the offsides correct...even the really tight ones....i did comment to him " well done mate great decision ....and that was a good call"...the poor kid looked at me in fright as if no-one had ever said that ...or as if i was being sarcastic...once he realised i was legit ...he smiled and ran that line with even more gusto....while 20-30 parents watched on ....I will personally let the club involved through my contacts what a great job this kid did...see if they can find out who it was and give him something .

we had a fill-in ref yesterday, he was excellent & very fair to both teams.
a few parents had a whinge , i told them to relax as he was doing a good & fair job at very short notice!
he was far better than the official ref who ran a game from the middle of the pitch earlier in the day, as he was too fat or puffed out to run !

I agree .... always say "we'll done" to the young refs .... they are still kids, need the encouragement, appreciate it, and are someone's children (just like our own)
