Some interesting incidents this week

A) Game abandoned allegedly due to water sprayed onto ref
B) Club Chairman acting as club marshall given his marching orders from ref
C) Player sent off but has no player card

Cheers for clearing up everyone, so in effect the rule is:

If a free kick is given, before that kick is taken, if the player then fouls an opposition player, the free is not reversed but a card is shown

So for example, 90th minute of the game, 1-1, I win a penalty, i can then go belt the keeper, who is shiraz awesome, knocking him out and he goes off on a stretcher. I will get sent off, but my teammate can still go take the penalty against their much worse keeper?

Well, yes but: an opposition player then punches your PK taker. the opposition player is sent off. In retaliation, one of your players, then punches another opposition player and he's sent off. In retaliation, an opposition player then punches your player and is sent off. This happens until you only have 6 players left (since you were down to 10 players first with original punch) and then you're required to forfeit and you lose 2-0

Or you could take a swing, missing the keeper altogther. You get a red card, the said awesome keeper saves penalty.

You are having a shower somewhat contemplating a few weeks rest!

So im gathering you know the answers to the other questions just not question B)

Polonia B's 5- 0 Unley

Both teams 5 out of 5 so far... The B's have not conceded a single goal yet while the A's have scored 35 goals
Hopefully we can keep the momentum going....

Unley can sit on a chair leg ..... didnt even sniff the clubrooms after the game...

I got there for half time of the B's to see your GK chatting with (I assume) his missus with one glove off having a smoke, gold, if he hasn't conceded a goal yet he deserves to be smoking cigars at HT!
HT team talks are over rated anyway!!

yeah he probably had a beer and a scotch as well
ha, funny you mention half time talks!!! (we have a bit of an internal joke about those this season)


have to mention the A keeper had a couple of games for the ressies and hes played a big part in keeping the ball out of the net...

Looking through this I just had to add my $20 worth (my opinions's worth a lot more tuppence).

Ref got it completely correct.

Ball is not dead if it's in keepers hands about to be cleared with drop kick/throw. Had the keeper not see the obstruction he would have just given away a penalty.

Ref punishes obstructing the keeper with IDFK to defending side and yellow for keeper for the push.

Unfortunately the Euros in Poland didn't help with numbers and we struggled mid-season, ultimately resulting in relegation. Everyone is keen to get back up again and that's showing on the park. Don't care how busy we are at the back, as long as we get the 3 points.
