Fulham vs Ingle Farm

Took Farm too long to get switched on and Fulham capitalised. To Farms credit a late second half comeback get the game back to 2-2 but Fulham pressed on to find a winner. Some dubious decisions either way in rubbish conditions made the game very scrappy. Farm now 0 and 4 and lost them all by a goal.

B Grade

Farmers got control of the game early and through some good play out wide set up several endeavours into the box but failed to capitalise on the scorecard. D Eggers showed some class in the middle of the park and the two lads out wide worked very well. Farm made a couple of change at 2-0 and Fulham just couldn't get a passage of play going. Two weeks in a row that the ressies have struggled early......

C Grade
4-2
A very poor quality game which is surprising given the players on the park, and the benches. No one stood up from either side to take the game on and some simple errors cost both sides goals early. Some very well played passages of football but too few and far between. These two can play much better and will need to if the want to get more results this year.

Terrible reffing even though came out with a win. Game played in ok spirits. Our captain was spat on, he did well to control himself. 3 penalties all converted, a fortunate goal and an absolute screamer from 25yds out.

Knights grabbed the lead early through Tom Foglia and had a goal disallowed soon after.
Florina grabbed an equaliser from a long (wind assisted) clearance from Jamie Hart.
After the break Florina, mainly through some excellent stops from Hart, kept a very frustrated Knights goal less and were able to break through Knights defence twice to take all 3 points.

Felt like a loss in the reserves, credit to your boys who I thought were unlucky not to score. Going to be very hard for teams to take points away from Knights at home this season

Blue eagles 1 - 2 PHESC

East cruised though the first half and should have been a couples at half time, but poor finishing and great keeping kept it at one nil to east... Blue eagles came out a little fired up after the half, made a few changes and had an effect... They managed to snatch a goal through some absolutely comical defending from us... East then woke up, gave blue eagles very little and managed to snatch the win on 90 minutes with a stunning volley from the outside of the box into the bottom corner. Certainly could have been more if it wasn't for the keeper and dogged defending from the number 5.

On another it would have been nice for the blue eagles to have somewhere we could go to have a beer after the game rather than standing out in the cold... And to add to that FARK me $6.50 for a beer is bull shite and you need to have a look at that!! We make all our players hang around for a beer (since the Florina game), and I thought it was a little steep for a token purchase of a beer...

Anyway... All the best for the remainder of the season, no doubt you guys will end up in the top half of the table.
